Personality traits that help me be a great caregiver include compassion, integrity, reliability, and my outgoing nature. I enjoy being with people and learning from them. I also really enjoy helping people. What attracted me to being a caregiver is the same thing that attracted me to being an EMT - helping people. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is learning from people that are more experienced than I. Also, I do enjoy helping people and spending time with them. A personal achievement that I am proud of is my kids. I have 3 kids, ages 22, 10, and about to turn 3. A boy and 2 girls. They are my world. Another achievement I am proud of is being a firefighter/ EMT. My dad was a firefighter/EMT and I was very proud to follow in his footsteps. He was my hero. One more thing I am proud of, that is a work in progress, is that I am currently learning how to code. I am almost done learning Python. I am very proud of that.

My entire adult life has been in Health Care..I love to help people feel better, and to know they are cared far...I spent 32 years in Dentistry, helping to comfort people and take care of their Oral Health.I am a hand holder and most of my patients have told me how much that meant to them..I was also a Licensed Massage Therapist and was an Manager Overnight for a Home Health Agency.I love people and have always loved my careers and getting the privilege of making a difference

I've been in a caregiving roll of some sort almost my entire life. I love what I do and have a passion for it. I love being of service to others. I had a gentleman I cared for that had trouble moving his feet and was extremely tall...I asked him if he liked to dance and he responded that he loved to...I said let me lead and he was able to get around with my help so much better. ...proud moment of problem solving.

I became a caregiver, starting with my father had Alzheimer 15 years ago, while I did care of him, I find out about my passion for making a difference in a meaningful way for elderly to enrich their lives. Since I was young I have wanted to help people and care for them, I have a huge heart and I am very compassionate. I enjoy the bond I have with my Clients and Enjoy Making them as comfortable as possible. I took care of my grandfather back in January of 2019 He was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and was put on hospice, I knew That there was nothing else I would rather do than Help as many people that I can that could use my help.

A friend of mine, his health started to fail. I stepped in to assist him with his Alzheimer's. He was a dear friend. I helped him with his appointments, bills, healthcare, dressing, bathing, Etc. I am glad I could help him and his family. I felt great to have been part of his life.

When I began servicing the elderly in 1990, in Las Vegas, many jobs began as housekeeping and gradually moved into care giving. As the years went on with my clients, their needs changed.
