What makes me a great caregiver is that I have over 25+ experience. I have been in the medical field, worked in hospital setting, clinic setting and in private practice caregiving. I have a wide range of caregiver experience from pediatric, adult and geriatric.

I have work in the hospital for the past 17years, I also work in home health care . I am a certified nurse aide. I also work in rehab for 6 years I became a caregiver because I love to help people. It is my calling. Caring for other give me joy to know that I was there , when someone needed me. I am now working on my register nurse degree, hope in the next year I will have my achievement. I am very a reliable person, honest, and give my best in every thing I do. I love to cook, read and spend time with my family. I am also a dog lover.

I became a part-time caregiver years ago when we discovered my dad had dementia in the 90s. I have always been a caregiver in my family . My background is in finance. Kids got to college and I decided I'd do what was in my heart! Love being a companion and helpful Guide when I'm needed in a shopping, cooking, housekeeping and overall balancing act for someone who just needs some assistance.

I was a single mother to six beautiful daughters in Africa. I raised and educated all of them. They're all very successful in their career in both the United States and Africa. Enjoy giving care to the elderly because I know someday I would also need that care.

I am a very upbeat care-giver who enjoys brightening up the the day of others. I am very loving and passionate about my job as a CNA. I come from a long line of nurses. I remember going to nursing homes with my Mom as a child and singing to her patients. My Mother was a nurse and my Dad was a paramedic as well as several other family members. I love working with patients for a long duration of time so that we get an opportunity to bond together and it helps build up trust and rapor between nurse and patient. Born and raised here in Texas. Mother had me young so, my grandmother was my babysitter/ caregiver while mom and dad worked. I thought it was normal to always be around the elderly, at least It was to me. That's how and where my love for the elderly got started. It was planted, then later bloomed. I began my journey 8 years ago when I became a certified nursing assistant. I have worked in long term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, memory care facilities, hospice, and the hospital. I did not know what I was getting myself into in the beginning but somehow I felt that helping others was meant for me. Being a caregiver is who I am. I enjoy people and connecting with them even when it is a challenge to do so. Every person is unique and has different needs. I always do my best to make them feel comfortable while finding joy in the day. I am currently in my second year of nursing school with a graduation year of 2024. I have 3 children plus 3 step children age in range of 10-17. I have a four legged, super furry son name Kai. I work on the weekends on the med/surg unit at the hospital. Now that school is starting up I have time available to do what I love and that is helping others live a better life.
