Hey, I'm Shakara Boles and for over the last 2 years and 4 months I been working with resident in a nursing home. I have a bachelors in psychology. But some where along the way I just fell in love with taking care of people. I knew that I wanted to help people but did not know it was by becoming a CNA. I'm very hardworking, determined, kind hearted, loving, and caring. Also ontop of working I am a mother of a 5 year old daughter and 6 months ago added another child into my daily routine my 4 year old niece. I'm a cheer coach ontop of that but never is to busy to take care of everything that's need to be done. I really didn't know what I would be doing after graduating school but before I graduated from college; I took a CNA course to make extra money but after doing it for so long I just fell in love with it all and I just couldn't leave it. I enjoy every moment about being a caregiver because I know I'm making a big difference into someone else life especially someone family member that they care for. It's never a dual moment having this as a career but it helps motivate you and keep you up on your toes to make sure that someone that is not related to you get all the help they need. I am proud of everything I have accomplish in my life time because I'm making a future that not only for me but my child and niece as well. One thing I am proud of that I can say is that becaming a CNA was the best decision I made because it helped me to become a better person and my love has grown even more because of this. I would not change any decision I made to become one.

For 25 years I worked as a retail pharmacist and I have always loved talking to people and helping them understand their medicines. However, I have really enjoyed the satisfaction that comes from providing one on one care. I have been an in home caregiver for over a year now and I love learning from my clients. One has taught me some amazing old recipes and another loves telling me about life when she was a little girl almost 90 years ago. I love bringing a smile to my clients' faces and a sense of calm and peace to their lives.

I'm very outgoing and patient to my companion needs and listen to them My sister died at age 21 and she had cerebral palsy and epilepsy, I watched my mom take care of her as well helping my mom take care of her and it was her (Brandi)is the reason o love taking care old and young.I get great joy of helping people be happy.

I'm a dedicated person. I enjoy providing care to the elderly and sick. This is something that gives me joy when I see my clients able to meet their day to day needs. I'm honest and dependable. Providing the best care to Seniors is a service that I enjoy doing. I have over 10 years experience in Senior care giving.

I am always be patient ,I have experienced working with dementia, I show them that Im happy , understanding and caring and I always treat them like a family and make sure that they are satisfied my care and responsibilities

I am 21 years old with a beautiful one year old daughter. I love working with the elder people, it helps me stay close to my grandmother that passed away way to soon.

I enjoy helping those who are incapable of doing for themselves or those who needs assistance. I am a Christian. I love uplifting others. I am very passionate about the elderly.

I'm a great caregiver because I love the elderly they are wise people.the reason i became an care giver was because my son was very sickly and I was always in the hospital with him for his chronic illness that he had.I also love being a caregiver because some day someone is going to return the love to me that I've gave to there love ones.

I will like to become a caregiver, because I have a desire and the heart to help people. At this point in my life, I am looking for meaningful and purposeful job.And caregivers jobs to be one of them Knowing at the end of the day the job I did will make me proud and satisfied. My personal achievement that I am proud of would be raising my 2 boys.
