Im upbeat, energetic, silly by nature, understanding and compassionate. I can be a strong leader and motivate others but I tend to do it through a combination of reason meets humour. I love the outdoors and love helping others stay independent. I know what its like to be on the recieving side of care so it really means a lot to me to preserve dignity and be a friend to my clients. I have extensive experience and training, am prompt and dependable. I am a problem solver and athough my demeanor is best described as silly, I am a professional and conduct myself as such. Humour is just a great way to connect and lighten the mood when things are otherwise difficult. I am proud of a great many accomplishments throughout my career, my greatest achievment is my ability to help someone go from being about to be placed into a long term care facility, to being completely able to function on their own without me. A little know how, hard work, time, and TLC can go a long way to restoring independence.

I'm caring, friendly. I love hearing old stories and how older people were growing up. I love being a CNA. I started this career because I have always wanted to take care of people. I have worked in the medical field for over 23 years as a Medical assistant and lab technician. I have worked in skilled home health care and emergency room care as well as oncology and geriatric specialties. I left the field 2 years ago to do private caregiving.
