I have been working now more than 9 years as a home caregiver for clients plus 3 years of experience working with children who have disability. I'm quiet very positive person who easy to get along with most patients. I was care giver first 10 years in Sonoma county soon after my immigration from s korea. I have two two children one is master degree in education Son is professional cook. I raised my two kids since they were young I'm a very hard worker love to achieve goals. I don't remember that ever been fired from previous work, I have a good rates from patient's family about performance of overall work. I'm completely famillier with day and nights shifts short to long hours, man and woman, home care, hospice, phisical therapy exercises, visiting dr's offices, etc , Infect, I was licensed for obove practice but never renewed them Due to changing my work field 25 years ago (Dental tech) I still enjoy working with people and helping them in ADL. I am a happy person who likes to help out others. i feel like my volunteering background in firefighting can help with care giving. We often get medical calls that range from heartaches to complications of health. My personal achievement that I"m proud of has to be me becoming a volunteer firefighter. I've had a lot of experiences with helping people out when they are in need.

My positive attitude towards caregiving makes me a great caregiver. People person - Since caregivers interact with residents and other caregivers for much of the day, they must enjoy working with people. These should be people that light up and smile while talking with others. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. My personal achievement is when a member of family realize my care towards the old man or woman is progressively fine.

I am honest, compassionate, puntual caregiver. I love my job, because I like to socialize with elderly people, I like to listened to their stories. My personal achievement: A patient was sent home and was given 2 weeks to live. I took care of her and she lived for 5 years. Being a caregiver has broaden my knowledge of caring others and their situations.

I started caregiving for a couple reasons. My main reason was that, when my grandmother first got sick in 2013, I saw the nurses that took care of her well and and the ones that didn't. I hated feeling like she wasn't getting the best care possible. I thought maybe if I started doing this, it would be a great personal gain to see the families that I can help. I found out about the current job I have now, because I was really desperate for a job, and stumbled across this company. I found out it was caregiving, which made me excited, but it was more than that. I caregive for mentally and physically disabled adults, ages 21 to 60. It's really one of the most personally rewarding things I've ever done. I absolutely love it. I am a very nurturing person, I care very deeply. The best thing about being a caregiver, is seeing how happy the families of my clients are when they see what we do for the clients. The families are usually very thankful and it just makes me feel good that I can do something so special for them.
