Hi, i am Vita, a nursing assistant and paraprofessional. I have been working now more than 9 years as a home caregiver for clients plus 3 years of experience working with children who have disability. I'd say what makes me a good caregiver is my compassion for others & Positive demeanor. What sets me out from most would definitely be dedication & patience. When your doing something you love to do it really makes work not feel like a job & that's why I'm a caregiver. Giving someone the help they need is something we all deserve. The way I see it is -if providing my help was the least I did, then id enjoy the rest of my life knowing I made a difference. Really, It's a win- win situation!!!

I'm quiet very positive person who easy to get along with most patients. I was care giver first 10 years in Sonoma county soon after my immigration from s korea. I have two two children one is master degree in education Son is professional cook. I raised my two kids since they were young I'm a very hard worker love to achieve goals. I don't remember that ever been fired from previous work, I have a good rates from patient's family about performance of overall work. I'm completely famillier with day and nights shifts short to long hours, man and woman, home care, hospice, phisical therapy exercises, visiting dr's offices, etc , Infect, I was licensed for obove practice but never renewed them Due to changing my work field 25 years ago (Dental tech) I still enjoy working with people and helping them in ADL. I feel like I am caring, loving and patient individual, I like to care for others that need care, I have an hear to listen when someone needs someone to talk to, I don't mind helping others, it's a part of my trait. I once was going to school for nursing, but didn't finish, so I worked in the acute hospital and convalescent home, plus in-home care for quite a while. I love caring for the sick and disable. I like to try and help and encourage others to get better and not to quit. I saw a friend of mine hold on after she was diagnosed with breast cancer, when the doctor's had given up on her, that I was there to encourage her to not give up and she lived a healthy life for a little of two more years, when the the breast cancer attacked her again, and she was tired and gave up and died.

My positive attitude towards caregiving makes me a great caregiver. People person - Since caregivers interact with residents and other caregivers for much of the day, they must enjoy working with people. These should be people that light up and smile while talking with others. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better. My personal achievement is when a member of family realize my care towards the old man or woman is progressively fine.

I'm become Cna since 2008 I really like my job help the people make feel better. I'm hard worker, easy going , like to learn new skills and spend time with my patients. I'm good learner, fun, nice. I'm proud to be what I'm I need improve and learn more.

I been working as a caregiver for 10 years both personally and privately. I enjoy the happiness I can see in the clients, being able to speak to someone one on one or in multiple groups.

I have been a caregiver for more than 10yrs. I looked after my grandma as a teenager & have been doing caregiving ever since. I find it very fulfilling. I care about our elderly because they have lived through history & can tell u some incredible stories. I really enjoy being a caregiver & will always keep doing it.
