Hi I have been working as a caregiver for many years. I started as a CNA and work for more than 10 years, I currently don't have a certification but I still have the Knowledge. I enjoy been around the elderly listen to their stories and learn from them.

I began my caregiven duties, with my mother back in 2014, she got sick and I began caregiving for her until she died in 2018, I began caregiving for my grandmother who passed away in 2019 it was a very rough ride for me, I learned a lot especially from my grandmother who was an RN before her passing. I knew then I had a heart for the work and I continue to do caregiving. My specialties are working with the Elders. I do have experience working with the hospice patience.

I've been a caregiver for 35 yrs. I started in this field when I was just 17. I love what I do. I come from a medical family and decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a doctor or nurse. I am proficient in basic skills: personal hygiene like showers/bath, oral care, toileting, back-rub, dressing; Assists in activities of daily living such as serving & feeding, ambulating, positioning, transferring, administer meds & nutritional supplements, dressings surgical prep; Do & record vital sign: blood pressure, weight, pulse, temperature, finger pricking for sugar levels in diabetics; Measure & record food & liquid intake, urinary & fecal output and report changes. Encourage patient to exercise. Review & ask dietary restrictions, preferences, & allergies. Change bed linens, replace trash bags. Always check expiration of food & medicines. Know vital information about patient's condition, treatment plan & any suggested activity.. In a capsule, it is very important to respond immediately to patient's call for assistance and/or treatment with the goal of creating a safe, effective environment to make a difference in the lives of the patient & their families. Patience is a virtue inherent in me. I always work above & beyond my duty for the comfort & safety of my patients. I would be very glad to be of service as I have an extensive experience in the medical field.

I have been a caregiver since I was 18. I took care of my father who had esophageal cancer. I handled a gtube, medications, attachments for feedings, drs appts everything. From that time on i knew I could make a difference for those who need that help and companionship. I have worked for a company for a short time but I didnt like how they didn't follow through so I'd rather work for a family who can appreciate the care and love I can give to their loved ones. I know the struggles of giving your life to a sick or hurt family member and i understand help is really needed and I would love to offer my help.
