I've been a caregiver for 35 yrs. I started in this field when I was just 17. I love what I do. I come from a medical family and decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a doctor or nurse. I specialize in geriatric dementia and Alzheimers care. Every client needs to know they're truly cared for on every level with love, patience, and kindness. What drove me to be a caregiver is when i realized the need to serve and help others. This passion came when I lived with my grandmother who i loved dearly and as she aged i realized she needed care day by day. I automatically became a caregiver to her, a job I have come to love and perfect professionally. In terms of handling a patient, I can say I have a lot of patience and perseverance. I can easily communicate and give rapport for them. For experience,I worked in a care home before so the task for medication, preparing food, monitoring the vital signs, assessing the patient was not hard for me. I can assure that I can give my best for taking care of my patient.
