Why did I become a caregiver: I became a caregiver because I realized that I could connect with the disabled or the seniors to a degree to understand what they need and how they want task completed. What do you like about being a caregiver: I greatly enjoy sitting down with a client and learning about how they grew up, and what they enjoyed doing with their time. Most people don't like doing the "dirty work" that comes with being a CNA but it gives me pleasure to know that I helped that person have a better day or helped them look how they would like. I enjoy boosting self-esteem because it greatly impacts how a persons health is. What is a personal achievement you're proud of: I'm proud of myself when I can handle a difficult situation that most people would give up in. I can handle stressful situations with an excellent attitude which allows me and the client to connect. I think its most important when a client trust you, it makes their day go by easier and it helps me to get to know them on a better note.
