Being in the healthcare field for over 10 years, had shown me the importance of helping ones to be able to stay at home with assist. I have rehabbed many to assisted living, ECF, and home settings throughout my career. I love working with all ages but most experienced with geriatric population. My personality is outgoing, creative, and compassionate. I will try my hardest to fulfill all requirements but attempt to make it as enjoyable as possible. I am CPR certified and am up to date on all TB, MMR, amd flu vaccinations. I would love to assist with keeping older ones in their home as long as safely possible.

I've been in the caregiving field for three going on four years, I truly love what I do & those I care for & those whom I'll be caring for in the future, I currently just received my CNA and will be working on my RN this fall.

I am a mother of 3 children (& multiple God children) and a grandma of 6 (as well as multiple God Grandkids!) I always have a house full of kids! I worked in the healthcare field for years. I love working with children as well as elderly and disabled people. I have worked in Nursing homes, group homes, hospitals, and State facilities taking care of children, elderly people as well Developmentally Disabled and Mentally I'll individuals. I am a people person and love to work with people! I am very dependable and I am a very fast learner. I listen to the needs and concerns of the individual(s) that I am taking care of (working for) and I try to take care of everything asked of me. I address concerns immediately and try to resolve them (or ease them) to the best of my ability! I love to have fun. I am a home body, I don't party. I am excellent with children and children seem to really like me. I can cook, clean, give medicine if needed, swim, go to the park, take children to extra curricular activities, give baths, and put to bed with a bedtime story if that's what needed. I've done it all!!

During the course of my academic career, I also managed to accrue nearly 25 years of work experience. I have the privilege of working for SIU School of Medicine as a medical office associate where I have learned valuable professional skills such as customer satisfaction, customer service and scheduling. I have worked in pretty much every area of my field such as geriatrics, hospice, home care, assisted living, and so on. I love the Nursing field and will be continuing my career as I got accepted into LLCC's ADN program beginning this Fall. I have worked so hard for this opportunity and hope to become an RN in 2023 after graduation and passing my boards.
