Hello, I am a young energetic, helpful, and compassionate young woman that just graduated from Indiana University. As a caregiver I believe in working with the client versus working for the client. It is imperative to me as a caregiver to learn what's best for the client to provide personalized care. I am passionate about caring for others and working with them to be able to live and cope with daily life. I am a very laid back person, I enjoy working with elderly people who isn't able to help themselves. I am very humbled person and what attracted me to being a caregiver I believe God put it in me when I was a little girl I've always been helpful and giving person. The most about me being a caregiver is I represent Jesus Christ he is our caregiver and I understand we all have conditions in our lives and I have had a honored to doing this for over 7 plus years Helping Hands Senior Care. All of my previous clients have said to me that I am a blessing and that their proud to have me as their caregiver. Well I stayed with the company for 7plus years and I had one of my clients died on me we became very close and I have worked some ungrateful clients who were bossy mean out of the 5 clients I had 1 was I could not deal with anymore . I had 2 male's and 3 females

I have been a CNA for 10 years, and have worked in all different situations in many different facilities. I aspire to go further with my nursing degree, and eventually, hopefully become an RN like my mom. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me a sense of purpose, I enjoy helping people. Many life lessons held dearest to my heart, came from the facility where I worked my first 2 years as a CNA. I currently work PRN for an agency based out of Indianapolis. Although I am through an agency, I have been steadily picking up at a facility in Franklin for over 5 years. I am searching for a PRN or part time option closer to home. During my childhood years, caring for my elderly grandparents was a part of my everyday life. They had several health issues and were in and out of hospitals frequently. I was exposed to caregivers in many different settings. The impact that kind, compassionate and informative care-giving made all the difference to me and my family. At the age of 12, I knew nursing was what I wanted to do with my life. As I pursued nursing, I started out caring for patients in a nursing home as a nursing assistant. I loved this, as I got to care for clients, just like my grandparents. The opportunity to establish connections with clients week-to-week was special! After nursing school, I moved to caring for patients in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse. The hospital experiences have given me a broad scope of skills, whether it is assisting patients with basic self-care needs, changing dressings, managing ventilators or providing education, being able to establish a rapport with patients and their family's is still one of the favorite parts of my job. I love being able to help people understand what is going on with their health and their treatment plan. Just as others demonstrated to my own family, I want each of my clients and their family members to feel safe, cared for and heard.

I became a CNA 8 years ago because I really enjoy helping people out and also being able to be there to make someone that is going through a tuff time in life smile and feel great.
