Hello! My name is Andrea, you may also call me Andy (for short) I've been a CNA since 2008. What's helped me enjoy my career more than anything is my residents & families. I consider everyone I have got the pleasure of taking care of like extra grandparents and I couldn't thank their families enough for sharing them with me. I've been trained & also have worked with Alzheimer's, & dementia. My grandmother whom I took care of for a couple years also had this disease. I've been trained on hoyer lifts many times. Also I've been educated on puree foods, thicken liquids & mechanical soft. I have a family of 2 of which I absolutely adore. My 13 yr old son & 1 yr old little girl. They keep me busy when I'm not working our summers consist of baseball games, swimming & learning something new everyday.

I was a caregiver for my quadriplegic son until his passing at age 15. He taught me patience, being kind and self-care. I believe in treating people with kindness and go the extra mile for someone. I have worked with elder people for 8 years now. I enjoy using music therapy and crafts to relaxation my client. I have attended classes on Dementia and Alzheimer's. Taking care of people isn't just a job but a passion.

Hello, My name is Cheyanna Fields! I am a 25 years old single mom to the most handsome 2 year old! I am hard working ,independent , self driven, detail oriented, self motivated, organized, clean, and cheerful person! I have been a caregiver for a little over 5 years, I love helping others with day to day life skills and needs I always knew I wanted to help people and once I finally started to I knew I never wanted it to end! Helping others makes me feel so much joy just knowing that the person is being properly cared for. I love getting to know each an every person I get the pleasure of working with. I have been a CNA for 10 years, and have worked in all different situations in many different facilities. I aspire to go further with my nursing degree, and eventually, hopefully become an RN like my mom. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me a sense of purpose, I enjoy helping people. Many life lessons held dearest to my heart, came from the facility where I worked my first 2 years as a CNA. I currently work PRN for an agency based out of Indianapolis. Although I am through an agency, I have been steadily picking up at a facility in Franklin for over 5 years. I am searching for a PRN or part time option closer to home. Hello my name is Michelle Dayton. I have worked in home healthcare for close to 25 years. I have been State certified as a CNA in both Michigan and Indiana. I am not currently certified but I am a registered HHA. I get tremendous enjoyment of taking care of others. My healthcare career started as a volunteer for hospice after I lost my grandparents. I've seen what amazing work they did and how at peace my grandparents were when they passed and I chose to pay it forward. I am a little more picky on the people I take care of then other Aides for two reasons: 1. If the client and I seem to clash it's no good for anyone. So I will not waste your time or my own. I will just respectfully decline the offer. 2. The clients I take on will not be just a clients. I love my people like they're my own family and I will do my absolute best to meet every need they have. If I cannot accomplish that I will find someone who can and put you in touch with them, because there's no sense in your family members being unhappy and uncomfortable in their own home. I feel that I am very caring and compassionate with each and every client that I've had. I believe everyone deserves respect, kindness and a voice( your opinion matters to me!) I will never force your family members to do something they don't want to do. I feel they have live through several wars, a great depression and a whole lot of hardship in the past and now is their time to be pampered. If your family member needs anything or you have questions about anything if I can't answer them I will find the answers and if I have the answers I will let you know.

I'm a single mother of 2 teenagers. I have 10 years experience in home health work and medical assisting.

During my childhood years, caring for my elderly grandparents was a part of my everyday life. They had several health issues and were in and out of hospitals frequently. I was exposed to caregivers in many different settings. The impact that kind, compassionate and informative care-giving made all the difference to me and my family. At the age of 12, I knew nursing was what I wanted to do with my life. As I pursued nursing, I started out caring for patients in a nursing home as a nursing assistant. I loved this, as I got to care for clients, just like my grandparents. The opportunity to establish connections with clients week-to-week was special! After nursing school, I moved to caring for patients in a hospital setting as a Registered Nurse. The hospital experiences have given me a broad scope of skills, whether it is assisting patients with basic self-care needs, changing dressings, managing ventilators or providing education, being able to establish a rapport with patients and their family's is still one of the favorite parts of my job. I love being able to help people understand what is going on with their health and their treatment plan. Just as others demonstrated to my own family, I want each of my clients and their family members to feel safe, cared for and heard.

I became a CNA 8 years ago because I really enjoy helping people out and also being able to be there to make someone that is going through a tuff time in life smile and feel great. My personal achievement would be and the end of the day the person telling you thanks and what a great job you do. I enjoy being a caretaker I believe that is my duty in life

Most of all I love hearing stories of how different the world was years ago. My greatest accomplishments are my babies. I have an 18 year old boy serving in our Military, a sassy with class 4 year old little girl, and a spunky, energetic , unbelievably strong 2 year old little boy that remind me daily of how lucky and blessed I am.
