My achievements was working with a lady who fell into depression following the death of her only remaining son, who had some type of rare cancer, but didn't think he was going to die,while she was also in the hospital recovering from hip replacement.I walked into her and her grandchildren's life Three weeks after the son's death. I was assigned to work with her to recuperate from her surgery, but I ended up being like a therapist to the family. And thanks be to God, her depression, was very well controlled with medication, and We became very good friends. So to me I think, that's was my greatest achievement And am always grateful and proud of that .

I have Been a personal care aide for the past four years and I love every aspect of my job. What made me gain interest in this field of work was when i first started to do child care for a family I knew back in my home town. I worked every summer for 3 summers straight for the family. Soon after i decided to become a certified childcare provider in the town of Hudson NY. Ive always loved caring for others so my interest grew outside of just childcare and i soon begin to take up companionship and Personal care and ever since then i stuck with it.
