I am naturally nurturing and a intrinsically motivated individual. I find it to be the greatest reward to support someone's mental health and quality of life. A personal achievement I am proud of is having the best reviews from clients sharing how I delivered on giving them the best experience during their time with me.

I became a caregiver back in 2012 , when I started my freshman year in college . I always loved to help others an when I tried Home Health aid I fell in love with dong it . I love the fact that you have a great impact on someone's life to help assist with there daily living. It makes my day to know , I've helped them.

Traits that make me a great caregiver would be that I have a huge heart an will help anyone I possibly can. The thing that made me want to be a caregiver is I have always wanted to help others. I look at clients I care for like family an I wouldn't want my family not well taken care of . Am a very happy person, so I always make sure my clients are happy. I joke around with them, and do funny dance. It's my way of showing them love and care, No matter how their situation is. Cause I believe it's a blessing to care for people who need help in anyways that you can, either with money or with love. since I don't have the money to do so, I chose to make a difference in peoples lives with the only thing I have a lot to give, which is LOVE. I enjoy seeing my clients being clean, happy and loved. My achievements was working with a lady who fell into depression following the death of her only remaining son, who had some type of rare cancer, but didn't think he was going to die,while she was also in the hospital recovering from hip replacement.I walked into her and her grandchildren's life Three weeks after the son's death. I was assigned to work with her to recuperate from her surgery, but I ended up being like a therapist to the family. And thanks be to God, her depression, was very well controlled with medication, and We became very good friends. So to me I think, that's was my greatest achievement And am always grateful and proud of that .

I have been a caregiver 30+ yrs (prior to agencies) cared for my dad, then aunt,while working full time (77-90) began thru agencies after retirement. 2006 - 2016. I also operated an in-home daycare from 2001-2006. I have a care givers spirit and love it!

I am a great care giver because I am very passionate, positive about anything that I apply myself to and caring about the wellbeing of others.. I am a mother of 4 and grand mother of 1. I have raised my children and I have a heart for caring for others and I love caring for the elderly as if they were my own family..I have taking care of the elderly and ill strickened family members as well as some patients. I am hairstylist by trade but I am always drawn back to this industry of caregiving because I believe it's something that I am supposed be doing as way of giving back to life..
