I became a caregiver back in 2012 , when I started my freshman year in college . I always loved to help others an when I tried Home Health aid I fell in love with dong it . I love the fact that you have a great impact on someone's life to help assist with there daily living. It makes my day to know , I've helped them.

I love being a caregiver because I enjoy helping others I dont look at this as Just my job when I go home I feel like I actually did something productive for the day. I have been a caregiver off and on for 13 yrs and I love it!

I've been working with the elderly for over twenty years and I love helping people rather it's companion care or house cleaning I just like being around them.

I have been a caregiver 30+ yrs (prior to agencies) cared for my dad, then aunt,while working full time (77-90) began thru agencies after retirement. 2006 - 2016. I also operated an in-home daycare from 2001-2006. I have a care givers spirit and love it!

I have Been a personal care aide for the past four years and I love every aspect of my job. What made me gain interest in this field of work was when i first started to do child care for a family I knew back in my home town. I worked every summer for 3 summers straight for the family. Soon after i decided to become a certified childcare provider in the town of Hudson NY. Ive always loved caring for others so my interest grew outside of just childcare and i soon begin to take up companionship and Personal care and ever since then i stuck with it. I love every bit of my job even the days that are tough on both caregiver and client I always put their needs first. I make sure my clients receives the best care and more under my watch. Each and everyone of them i go above and beyond for and they deserve not just the basic care but the best. I just wanted to add a few updates. I am also now a certified phlebotomy technician, EKG Tech and also a Patient care technician.

Hello my name is Brittany Nixon and I have been a caregiver for 4 years now and I love it, the reasoning behind that is you learn and experience new things and the clients and you have are adorable and if I can brighten up someone'sdatum by lending a helping hand that makes my day I've gotten into this profession by following my mother's footsteps but also what motivated me was seeing my grandfather go through pain and dealing with change of not being able to care for his self after he gotten sick that was my main motivation but I've always been a giving and caring person it's just my character. I became a caregiver 7 years ago. I was working as a personal trainer and one of my clients was visually impaired, we hit it off in the fitness world so she asked if I would be her caregiver, of course I said yes. I became certified through the board of DD as well. I soon made caregiving full time as I took on other clients with developmental disabilities, and some elderly clients. I'm also a cosmetologist, I love people and helping people.
