In addition to the regular requirements of of a caregiver, I'm very hard working, I'm cheerful, compassionate and have extremely good creative skills in the arts and I would include cooking as an art. I like to go the extra mile and do little things that sometimes can make all the difference. For instance, putting towels in the dryer so they're nice and warm after a shower, or making sure that meals are served garnished and attractive. It's rewarding to help someone and cheer them up, see them smile ! I enjoy the variety and working with people one on one, and I enjoy working in their homes. I think the overall achievement of working with many people since 2012 is what I'm proud of. I do enjoy making them smile and laugh and taking them out of their troubles at least for a little while, while performing tasks in their home that need to be done. I do not do transfers .This means the person must be totally ambulatory. I cannot help them get up from a chair or get out of bed, nor can I reposition someone in bed. But, I do everything else. Available full time. except Friday afternoon. I can also do weekend, 24/7 shifts or long weeks 24/7.

I am honest, hardworking, experience, passionate, driven, dependable, highly organized and constantly set goals for myself. I am able to handle multitask. What attracted me to become a caregiver, i love making a difference in a family and their love ones life. I also love making a difference in a clients daily routine to wish the family could be at ease. It's very rewarding field where getting to meet all different kind of personalities.

I'm a compassionate, kind and friendly person. I always want to make a difference in someone's life. I took great care of my grandparents and I experience first hand the happiness I felt so I continue working as a caregiver after they passed. I love getting to know and serve a lot of people from different backgrounds. As I help them I also get trained to improve my professional level of service. Lots of accomplishments, all my patients I took care of mostly bedbounds never had a bedsore. And I am proud of that I feel I am doing my job right. Those that refuse eat I have a way of distracting them and engaging with them that makes them forget their worries and eventually do what they refuse to do.

What makes me a great caregiver is my organization and ablity to multitask, I'm a reliable person. I enjoy people and treat people with respect. I've been a caregiver for 30+ years the reason I became a caregiver is, it's given is the ability to help other people, live the best posible life they can live. What I enjoy the most is watching people smile and heal. The thing I'm most proud of is raising my 4 children to be healthy young men.

Since I was a very young girl when asked what I want to do I've always been able to respond in the same way: I want to help people. I've always been driven to grow and improve. This desire also extends out to the people around me. As a caregiver, I go out of my way to ensure my client's needs are met before that of my own. I have been a caregiver for fifteen years and am very qualified. I enjoy assisting others with there needs and when they can no longer take care of themselves. I'm a very caring and energetic woman of God. I have always loved helping others while also advancing my knowledge in the health field. I followed in my mother's footsteps as she became a CNA, AED, and now an ED. As a caregiver for 9 years, I've come to enjoy helping my clients live their best lives while encouraging as much independent care as possible to eliminate doubts of self worth. I'm proud of all of the knowledge I have gained in the health field. I have learned about many diseases, disorders, and medications through my jobs and schooling. I'm proud of myself for saving a man's life through performing CPR on him for 10 minutes before the ambulance arrived. But most importantly, I've always been told by clients, friends, family, and even strangers, that they can't help but be happy, smile, and laugh around me.
