I am a naturally caring person, who was raised by my grandparents, so I love and understand the elderly. I love hearing the stories of the past. I love getting to know the families and people involved in their lives. People are important and every person has value and a story to tell! I helped to take care of my grandmother as she was aging and I look back on that time w fond memories. Helping others stay in their home. Making someones life just a little bit easier can have great rewards. I took religion is college, of which I have 3 yrs. I have raised two children, and have been involved in my church over the years. I am now helping to raise two of my grandchildren which I adore! I am faithful and loyal, kind and gentle to others. I am honest and trustworthy.I love gardening, my grandchildren, and nature and all animals, especially cats and horses. In my younger years I was a CNA for about 10 years. Hi I'm Cassidy! I fell in love with being a caregiver at my first job after graduating high school in 2016 working for a personal care home where I gained experience in many areas. Such as, dementia, diabetes, alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and many more. After a year and a half of working at this home, I was promoted to supervisor and was trained to be a medication administrator. To me, a great caregiver has a big heart, is compassionate, patient and understanding and I think that's what makes me great at what I do.

I cared for my late father when he had a stroke twenty four years ago and I developed a tender heart for the elderly. I love working with them and I believe they need love, special care and attention in their old age just like my dad offered me a lot of love, care and attention in my young age. I am a warm, loving and caring person and I would like to make a difference in a person's life, treat them with respect and love, through music, through a word of encouragement, through a smile, a warm embrace an acts of kindness. The best time was when one of the elderly people who hasn't been talking or saying anything for a while started singing when I was playing a song on the CD and humming along, I felt so accomplished and victorious in that moment. I made a difference in her life that day, through music.
