I grew up helping seniors I knew and have always loved doing so. I love being needed and feeling like I am making their life better, happier, healthier. My 40 plus years as a licensed Hairstylist has given me alot of people skills. I am an empathic soul and have compassion for people hurting or needing help. As I know, illness and aging is apart of life, if I can help to bring a caring, and comforting helping hand, I feel I'm doing something that is meaningfull.That brings me joy. I have been a caregiver my whole life It started with observing my Mother. I don't reserve my caregiving to just people, it just requires care. I like to bring Joy to those who have lost so much, and they are usually the nicest people. In several cases I have been one of the last people to help them feel "normal" . My ideal job would be for someone who wants to "get better". I have great energy for thatAt the end of the day you feel good by helping to stretch out normal It can get stressful, but i enjoy what I do.. I have been at the feet of people who are passing, and the feet of someone who died and returned. I can help with physical therapy, am a good cook, and know our hospitals. I can do far more than clean.

My greatest accomplishment being as a caregiver, i work hard and am proud that my dedication to leadership coursework paid off. Hello my name is Jessica iv been in the medical/caregiving field for well over 17 years experience , I love what I do I love helping people I am 38 years old I have a 13 year old son who I adopted at birth. I have decided to get back in the work field. I've been working part time and ready to go back full time! now that my son is older and I'm ready to get out there and do what I love! Im very dedicated to my work I catch on fast and very easy to get along with and very dependable I give my all! I have been a caregiver since 2009. I have a great passion for taking care of others and have spent most of my working career doing so. I have worked with a variety of Alzheimer's and dementia clients as well as Parkinson's, MS, Diabetes, severe respiratory issues, Huntington's disease , cancer and those on hospice all which include many different special needs. I care about people. I want them to live their best, mostly independent, dignified, fulfilled & happy lives. I seek to provide regular support while offering companionship. I am wired for nurturing service and administration. These traits make me a strong candidate for caregiving positions, especially where varied needs are to be met. The ideal candidate would ask me to offer companionship while encouraging activity/recreational opportunities.
