I have been a caregiver my whole life It started with observing my Mother. I don't reserve my caregiving to just people, it just requires care. I like to bring Joy to those who have lost so much, and they are usually the nicest people. In several cases I have been one of the last people to help them feel "normal" . My ideal job would be for someone who wants to "get better". I have great energy for thatAt the end of the day you feel good by helping to stretch out normal It can get stressful, but i enjoy what I do.. I have been at the feet of people who are passing, and the feet of someone who died and returned. I can help with physical therapy, am a good cook, and know our hospitals. I can do far more than clean.

I love working with the elderly because I feel like I'm making a difference in someone's life. Knowing I made someone's day better it's priceless. I also enjoy working with the elderly because I learn so much from them and their life experiences, making me become a better person each day.

I always love to take care of others and this is my dream profession,I'm a licensed nurse in the Philippines for 11 years and to be a great caregiver you should be Responsible,Patient,Compassionate, Excellent Communicator and treat other person with respect and dignity.

I worked for Extended Care facilities for a number of years as a CNA, and I didn't feel fulfilled. As an nursing assistant I had 15 or more patients, and I didnt feel as though they were receiving the care, and attention that they deserved. Being a caregiver with CareLinx affords me the luxury of being able to take care patients in way that they truly deserve. I've done this for 25+ years and I really enjoy spending time with the seniors while I provide for their daily needs.

I have several years of experience working in the career. It is truly my passion to work with individuals in need. I like to know that I can use my skills as a care giver to not only provide for the needs of the person but to try and make the time I spend with them as pleasant as possible.

I was certified and successfully completed my Personal Care Assistant Training Course, and I had 8 yrs. of caregiving experienced, I had a sincere desire to help people in need and provide them compassionate care. I had a personality that is patient,caring, mature, and sensitive to a client needs. My personal achievement in life that I am proud of, is when I finished my 24 yrs. working as a Customer Associate.

Nursing is a calling for me. Making sure that people receive the best possible care I am able to provide is my most important goal. Safety first always, compassion, dignity, privacy, respect and hope are all important attribute's that I find essential to good nursing care. It is a meaningful gratifying experience to know that I can add to someone's life and possibility bring goodness when health issues can be a challenge and so often depressing. Good nursing requires being completely present while in someone's home or in a facility. My standards are no cell phones while at work, no clock watching, and I always address people with respect by using MR.or Mrs. (last name) until I am encouraged otherwise. Using Mama or Papa and other terms of endearment are not appropriate for me personally in professional healthcare. Hi,you will find all the caregiver triats that you're looking for -patience,compassionate,attentive,reliable and dependable,not to forget trustworthy.I go above and beyond in taking care of your loved one ,Ive also been told I'm a ray of sunshine that brings joy and harmony to them and they're family.Now I don't want to boast about myself until you meet me and decide.My personal achievement ,I brought back a gentleman who was told he has 2 weeks to live -hospice care,with swabbing only ,I stepped in the day he was discharged ,family was preparing for his end of life -I brought him back to life,from bedbound for a month to sitting up and eating sandiwch on his own ,family was shocked .he happened to live for almost 2 years,I'm still in touch with the family and occasionally meet the wife and family.We are family now,they've always treated me as part of their family ,like this story I have a lot of families that I'm still in touch with ,I love my family

Hi my name is Arania. I've been in the healthcare filed since I was about nineteen years of age. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is the fact that everyday I'm making a difference in someone's life and everyday we wake up with a choice and chance and with my chance I choose to dedicate and devote myself to being strong when others feel weak, smile when some may not seem happy and to make life a little easier to cope with during difficult times and or conflict. My most enjoyable moments working in the field, is working side by side with my clients and their families. I get to meet new people and hear a lot of stories and learn a lot of good things and see new places. What makes me a great caregiver, I am a very carring and compasionate person, also very patient and kind. I became a caregiver while taking care of my parents at home until they passed away. I also took care of my husband when he got sick. I guess most of my life I have been caring for some one. I like helping people it gives a feeling of great accomplishment and love for humanity. My personal achievements are being able to gain some one trust, and them knowing that I care about them and their well being that makes me proud.
