A very experienced and competent Support Worker, reliable, gentle by nature, patient, understanding and empathetic. As you can tell from my resume, l am currently working as a Caregiver, with ClarityCaregivers company and my duties mainly are to stay awake at night and keep a close eye on the safety of residents, give them medications and keep record of what happens during my shift. Previously worked as a SupportWorker, tried to encourage clients to live an independent life, attended to their personal care, administered medication, and reported to the Program Coordinator. My proudest moments in these jobs is when dealing with difficult clients bt at the end l was able to get them to calm down and take their medication ( that is where my patience was exercised). I believe that with my excellent all round care skills including personal care, cleaning and meal preparation, being a good listener and communicator with empathy, patience and understanding and being Computer literate with all Microsoft packages makes me an ideal candidate for this particular job.

I am 57 years old mature, responsible and experienced caregiver from Bloomington.my background is in Elementary Education but in the last 10 years or more, I have worked as a Home Health aide in senior facilities and residential. My services can provide companionship, light house cleaning, meal prep, shopping, strands, take to appt. Personal care, and pet care if needed. My goal is to provide services to help a client live more independently in their own home environment and give the families peace and assurance that their loved one is in great hands. Most of my career has been as a caregiver. There was a brief time that I worked in accounting completing my degree in 2015. It seems that I am doing what I enjoy the most helping others.

I have had Certified Nursing Assistant training, Direct Support Professional training, Qualified Medication Aide training, and am well read with experience as Physical Therapy Aide. As a caregiver, it is nice to have both a decent medical vocabulary and an interest in continuous learning about the functions of the human body.
