I have been in this field for 13 years now and I really love what I do . I really enjoy being able to help others . I have my CMT , I've been certified for almost three years now . I prep meals , clean, and I do laundry. I have worked with lots of different people. For example people with dementia and altimeters. I've also done just companion care.

The decision to go into this field came about after my granddaughter was born and I made the decision to become her Caregiver. I cared for her from birth until her mother made the decision to enroll her in a day care program, and at which time, I decided to focus my attention on taking care of others and joining the Nursing Profession. Because of my past job experiences as a Caregiver and a Senior Care Provider, which I combined with my course work, I am very confident that I can provide excellent services to all clients. I have enhanced my ability to providing compassionate and dedicated care to others and have worked diligently to provide excellence in all my professional endeavors and, have earned a reputation for my results driven work ethic; I have also received frequent commendations from patients and their families for providing exceptional care and have received employee awards for dedication and performance as a caregiver, because caring for others has always been my passion since childhood.

She had an amputation and she used a wheelchair for many years. My mother was an health aide,one of my aunts,many of my cousins still are in this profession and I love caring for others.

Hello, I have been a caregiver for 15 years. What made me decide to help and take care of people, when I seen my grandmother at 15 years old dying from colon cancer in a nursing home. Why I feel I am a good caregiver is because I treat people the way I would want to be treated, with respect, honesty, and reliability. I cared for my mom 4 1/2 years ago on hospice care in my own home, she died in 2012 from endometriosis cancer. I know I did the best I could, and I am glad I was there for her like she was for me.

I became a caregiver because I have a great passion to care for people. I love putting smiles on people's face in which is a healthy therapy for people I care and work for.
