What makes me a great caregiver is that I take pride in what I do which is helping people. I became a caregiver when my father was hit by a car over 19 years ago and my family and I took turns caring for him and took a liking in just helping still wasn't sure what I really wanted so I took classes at the Sojourner Douglas in phlebotomy, I V therapy, Emt (which I didn't finish than) and later received my CNA, HHA, at the Levindale Geriatric Center then last while working I received my CMT'S. What I like about being a caregiver is me being my own boss making my own work schedule & salary. One achievement that I've done while working as a caregiver is taking care of my grandmother for the last 18 months of her life before passing away due to "CANCER" and she telling me THANK YOU everyday an how proud she is of me to follow in her foot steps because everyone doesn't have the passion or patients for the job.

Hello im a experienced certified medication technician/ phlebotomist i have over 6years of experience working with seniors and patients with disabilities. I take my job very serious and my main concern is the well being of my clients i discovered my passion in health care after i cared for my great grandmother for 7years up to her passing at age 92. I enjoy caring for seniors most because working with them at that glory age brings joy to my heart i treat them with the same care and respect as i would if they was my family because when they become my client they also become my extended family. I recently furthered my education in healthcare and graduated school to become a certified phlebotomist so i can succeed further in my career, i plan to expand my credentials with more certifications and degrees over the next 3 years.
