I am a kind , caring and compassionate person who enjoys helping the elderly in everyday needs. I love to help people and have done so with children and the elderly. I really enjoy working with people.

My experience been a care giver I had. To take care of my aunt she was on bed rest for dementia and couldn't walk for rest of her life so I was the one who bath her feed her change her went to store for her. I just love take care of people . Been around people and taken care of them Got my high school diploma and soon go get my degree to be in home nurse

I love to work with, and care for the elderly. They need compassionate people to help them in their time of need. I gave alot of patience, and that's one if the most important things to them. I love to cook, and clean, and they just sometimes want someone to talk to them, and listen to their stories, and I'm that person. I worked for a Surgeon for over 20 years, and have experience in the medical field. I'm a very hard worker, and would love to work for the elderly, it makes me feel good to help them, and hope to make a difference in their life. We're all going to be there someday, and would hope that someone will give back to me in my time of need.

I have 22 years RN experience in medical and surgical nursing in the hospital setting as well as 8 years in home health and hospice. My assessment of subtle changes in a client's condition and comfort in providing care in homes is a bonus to my basic caregiving skills of safely bathing, transfering, and interacting with clients of all ages and debility. You wonder why I am not looking for a RN job? I no longer want to deal with the endless paperwork and little actual client contact involved with nursing today. However, I am a caregiver at heart and still want to serve people, especially the elderly, who need assistance. My personality is respectful and somewhat reserved, but i enjoy listening and talking about family, life experiences, etc. I have done much work with and continuing education regarding people with dementia, behavioral challenges, and mental disorders. I do only want to work part time for now.

I was in love with my Grandparents they were my best friends I think that is why I have such a soft spot for geriatrics. I love being able to help others. Im a positive outgoing person and full of energy maybe to much. That's one of the reasons why I feel I can make a difference in others lives. I have enough positivity and energy to share with everyone. While being in highschool I took a nursing class which allowed me to volunteer at the nursing home near my school which was amazing to me ! Everyone said I loved it way more than I should but they don't get to see the most amazing things that come from helping others! I also went to a elementary school that was down the road from my school which allowed me to volunteer with special education and pre development with pre schoolers. That also was so amazing im so lucky I had the chance to do that and or be allowed. So with all that I decided to go to Tide Water Community college in Virginia Beach and get my CNA. Which was the best choice I ever made. I will be finished by October 31 or November 10 we're waiting for an evaluator to pick up our testing date. While taking this class I have been doing clinicals at a nursing home near the school. I wasn't there long and after two days I had already fallen in love with all the residents. I love helping people and Its something that comes naturally to me. I love how they become family and to me it's helping me learn how to appreciate the little things in life. You also meet amazing people that having amazing story's. So I hope that you take me in to consideration because I promise I'll treat your family like it's my own.

I have been a care giver for over 14 years. I enjoy working with the elderly and helping them with all their needs. I have worked with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke, heart attack, and cancer clients. I do light house work, meal preparation, medication administration, doctor appointments, shopping/errands, bath assistance, laundry and help with range of motion exercises. I'm very reliable and dedicated to giving the best possible care to your loved one. Also I'm a very patient and caring person who has exceptional communication skills. I was with my last client for 7 years until she passed. She was such a sweet heart, I miss her dearly. I enjoyed getting up everyday to be with her, she became part of my family.
