Let me start by telling you how I got into health care. My mother Died in 2017 and it made me want to be a CNA so I could help take care of other peoples parents and grand parents being I'll never get the oppurtunity to take care of my mother in her elderly years. Im a mother to 4 wonderful children who i spend all my time with when im not working to improve our lives. I enjoy being around the elderly and taking care of them. I love listening to their stories of how they grew up and learning from their past experinces. I think the achievement im most proud of is pushing myself to go to school to be a CNA. I look forward to going back and getting my CNA 2 and medication certificate.

I am a kind , caring and compassionate person who enjoys helping the elderly in everyday needs. I love to help people and have done so with children and the elderly. I really enjoy working with people.

My "first career" consisted in working for the government for 18 years as a contacting officer, which I retired from in 2005. This did not fulfill my needs and passion to be in the healthcare community, which I always secretly longed to do. I pursued a education as a certified nursing assistant and have been in the healthcare field for 7 yrs. I especially love the diversity of taking care of all my patients. I am a great listener and have the passion and determination to treat everyone equally. I have a lot of patience and empathy and try to make all my patients as comfortable as possible. I will treat your loved ones as I would treat my own family. There is no other field of work that makes me feel as whole of a person as healthcare. I especially love to take care of the elderly, as they have so many interesting stories to tell of their lives. I have experience as a certified nursing assistant and a medical assistant., CPR qualified. There is no better feeling than being able to help someone and to make their day a little brighter.

Earned a bachelor Degree in kinesiology: exercise science which is the study of the human body movement. I care about health, nutrition, and fitness. With that degree, i've learned ways to help with cardiovascular health problems, lower blood pressure, and things in that sort. I am a hard working, dedicated man. Full committed to any task I begin. Once was a quarterback of a collegiate team, so I know how to be held accountable, and lead others. I want to help others become the best version of themselves. I enjoy helping and giving back to other the same as my family did for me and others around the community and seeing that type of love from my parents and family always stuck with me to do the same for others. My experience been a care giver I had. To take care of my aunt she was on bed rest for dementia and couldn't walk for rest of her life so I was the one who bath her feed her change her went to store for her. I just love take care of people . Been around people and taken care of them Got my high school diploma and soon go get my degree to be in home nurse

I make a great caregiver because I genuinely enjoy helping others at their time of need. My ability to create a smile or crack a small joke to make someone feel better or that their situation is ok and normal for them, has given so many people a feeling of acceptance and a lack of feeling embarrassed or a burden during their illness(s). To me that is the most humbling and rewarding thing that can be achieved in a life time. To have the desire, skill and patience to achieve that is a gift. My life goal is to allow others to feel normal and that they have more than just a caregiver to help them with ADL's but a friend, a confidant and a partner in their illness. Going home each day knowing I made a families day better is my favorite part of everyday. You ask what attracted me to caregiving. Well it fell in my lap. I never planned on this when I went to school. One random day I was asked by a friend to help his wife whom had been diagnosed with ALS. The tears of fear, burden, embarrassment and lack of self worth she endured tore me to shreds. I quickly reversed all of that with the extreme amount of patience I have, the way I handled situations and encouraged her intelligence, ideas and beauty. It wound up turning into my need to having her in my life. Since then, in 2006 I have been steadily helping the ALS community with open arms and a humbled heart. Caregiving is something that I loved accidentally. I pay attention to detail so much that it made since why I gravitated so easily to this, having one on one care provides detailed superior care where you can focus and that person has all their needs and wants met unlike nursing homes or adult daycares. I take pride in my work and skills and one on one care allowed me to complete that. That gives me a since of inner self accomplishment. I feel to my core that caregiving is a relationship that has the gift of helping each other.

I am a licensed nurse with 20 years experience in geriatric care.I find helping the elderly fulfilling. I am experienced in all aspects of personal care as well as skilled nursing. I am honest and dependable with excellent references.

I love to work with, and care for the elderly. They need compassionate people to help them in their time of need. I gave alot of patience, and that's one if the most important things to them. I love to cook, and clean, and they just sometimes want someone to talk to them, and listen to their stories, and I'm that person. I worked for a Surgeon for over 20 years, and have experience in the medical field. I'm a very hard worker, and would love to work for the elderly, it makes me feel good to help them, and hope to make a difference in their life.
