I started caregiving for my grandmother who was suffering from dementia. Being a good caregiver requires a lot of patience. I provide that to people in my care and hope to assist them in ways that improve their quality of life. One of my greatest accomplishments as a caregiver was seeing someone recover cognitive ability after switching from nursing home to in home care.

I truly enjoy helping and taking care of elderly patients.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I pay attention to details. I do exactly what I'm told, asked and also give advice according to my expertise and I tell the truth about what is needed when it matters. I first started working with elders within my monastery taking care of their basic needs and taking them back and forth to doctor's appointments and following their doctors care of plan. That transmitted to my professional work life as a certified nursing aide, as I work in the nursing homes and also in private home settings. It brings me joy to see those who are in need of help receive the assistance that they need without taking away their dignity and also giving them the extra help that's necessary.... at the same time allowing them to do what they can for themselves. I have a broad range going from helping those with terminal illnesses all the way to those who just need extra assistance around the house. There is no job too big or too small for me to do.

I was my grandmother/mothers caregiver for many years. Unfortunately, in January 2022 she passed away and it left me feeling like a piece of me was gone. I started working with Papa Pal and felt by caring for the elderly brought me close to my mom again. Being a caregiver is not only a job to me, it's building a connection with a person who is need of companionship and assistance on their day to day in hopes of building a great & trustworthy relationship:)

I am a patient, and compassionate person. Helping someone when they cannot help themselves, I've been there, so I want to be help to others when they cannot do for themselves. I enjoy giving others peace of mind, and this is a big gratification for me as a caregiver. My two sons are my greatest achievement in this whole world. I am very proud of them. Family means everything to me.

I have worked in places from the ER, to the hospitals, nursing homes and in people's homes. I believe your loved one has the right to live the best life they can even when they are not feeling their best, battling a sickness or are elderly. It's not my job to be their boss as I work for them. I enjoy seeing them still do whatever they can to live the best life they can. I love helping people it gives me a sense of joy and warms my soul. It makes me a better person, it has taught me patience and to enjoy every moment of everyday even when it's not the greatest of days. I am proud of the mom I am. My children have the same compassionate spirit as me and enjoy helping people. I truly love what I do and the community of people that I have the pleasure to share my time with.

HELLO! My career as a caregiver started with a chronically ill father. Throughout my childhood and in my early teens my dad was very ill with diabetes Type 1. When I was 5 years old my dad lost his eyesight. As a preteen I participated in his care helping with blood sugar readings and Insulin injections. When I was able to drive I help out by taking him to doctor's appointments. I went away to college and lived in Florida for a few years and as my dad became progressively worse I moved home. I became increasingly involved in his care as my mother was worn out and had a very full-time job. At that point I decided to change career paths and go to nursing school. My love of taking care of people is a direct result of the experience I had administering Loving Care to my father . I considered to be a dedicated and resourceful Private Duty Nurse. With an exceptional record of in-home health care provision I am able to function well independently in home medical emergency situations and to coordinate regular care regimens with physicians and other hospital staff. The reason why I love my job is bc since I was 6 years old I wanted to become a doctor. I love to help people and make them feel happy about themselves. That makes me happy
