Why caregiving ? I have always had passion for taking care of people. I just love the satisfaction that come with knowing that my time and energy is going into helping others lead happier lives ! This gives me a return that is different from my professional career.

I'm a great caregiver with compassion and i am patient when working with senior clients. I got interested in being a caregiver when my mother got sick and I noticed how folks were treated in certain situations. I enjoying providing care and when seniors are satisfied with the care I have provided to them.

I'm very kind, compassionate, friendly and have a naturally caring nature. I love helping people and have been 'in the business' of helping people for most of my life, which encouraged the obtaining of my social work degree. I have a background in caring for children with mental illness and special needs, as well as adults with mental illness and special needs; both populations were in congregate care facilities and community residence settings, as well as independent living in the community.

Dedication, positive mindset, good attitude, compassion, patience and being cooperative makes me a good caregiver. I become a caregiver so that I could learn from it and also that it could be beneficial for my college major. The most that attracted me the most in being a caregiver is knowing that I will be helping others so they could be better.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I pay attention to details. I do exactly what I'm told, asked and also give advice according to my expertise and I tell the truth about what is needed when it matters. I first started working with elders within my monastery taking care of their basic needs and taking them back and forth to doctor's appointments and following their doctors care of plan. That transmitted to my professional work life as a certified nursing aide, as I work in the nursing homes and also in private home settings. It brings me joy to see those who are in need of help receive the assistance that they need without taking away their dignity and also giving them the extra help that's necessary.... at the same time allowing them to do what they can for themselves. I have a broad range going from helping those with terminal illnesses all the way to those who just need extra assistance around the house. There is no job too big or too small for me to do.

I am a compassionate and caring person. I was a hospice volunteer for a year in Oneonta when I was attending Hartwick College. I recently graduated and started working at a daycare until I became a nanny. I love working closely with people and building a trustworthy relationship. I am capable of learning new things quickly. I enjoy helping others because it is the type of work I don't get tired of. A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating from college this past May. I worked hard for 4 years and was proud of my grades. I joined different clubs and organizations that i succeeded in as well.

I am 22 years old and graduated from Hartwick College very recently. I am a very caring, responsible and dedicated worker. I always wanted to work in the public health area because I am passionate about finding new ways to help others in need. I was a Hospice Volunteer in college for about 5 months, I was able to see what it is like for somebody who is sick to live in a hospital. From what I saw, it was depressing and lonely. I provided my patient with different activities to keep her distracted and happy. I was able to connect with her over a short period of time and that is what made me feel accomplished. I hope to be able to get a chance to care for somebody and help a family in need out.

I was my grandmother/mothers caregiver for many years. Unfortunately, in January 2022 she passed away and it left me feeling like a piece of me was gone. I started working with Papa Pal and felt by caring for the elderly brought me close to my mom again. Being a caregiver is not only a job to me, it's building a connection with a person who is need of companionship and assistance on their day to day in hopes of building a great & trustworthy relationship:)

I also have my certifications for CNA and PCA.. I don't work for an agency Im self-employed..I look forward to working with you and your families.!

I am a patient, and compassionate person. Helping someone when they cannot help themselves, I've been there, so I want to be help to others when they cannot do for themselves. I enjoy giving others peace of mind, and this is a big gratification for me as a caregiver. My two sons are my greatest achievement in this whole world. I am very proud of them. Family means everything to me.
