I am a natural nurturing person. I I decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a nurse or a doctor. I had a grandmother that suffered from Alzheimer's disease for 13 years. Majority of the time that she was sick I cared for her. I always knew I needed to get into the health field because I saw how important it is to have a support system. When you have someone in your family who can no longer take care of themselves it seems to have a ripple effect with everyone surrounding them. At some point we could no longer take care of my grandmother in the house so we had to hire a home health aide and in doing so I really grew to appreciate the nature of the job. You become an extended family member you grow great bonds with your clients or patients and their familes. I love being an aide.

I am a compassionate, patient, and dependable individual with a strong commitment to helping others, which makes me an excellent caregiver. My ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and show genuine empathy allows me to provide high-quality care and emotional support to those I serve. I was drawn to caregiving because I have a passion for making a positive difference in people's lives and offering comfort to those who need it most. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is building meaningful connections with my clients and knowing that my support helps them live safely, comfortably, and independently. One personal achievement I am especially proud of is being recognized for my dedication and compassion while helping individuals reach their goals and maintain a sense of dignity and confidence in their daily lives.

I am a compassionate caregiver who has experience in home care settings, hospital and nursing homes. This is a passion for me not just a job. I believe that every person deserves the best care possible. I am CPR and first aid certified. Also have a diploma for medical assisting, phlebotomy and nurses aide.

I became a caregiver because I had two great aunts that had cancer and I use to sit and watch how caregivers would come and take care of them and I saw how they made a difference in my aunts lives and I knew then and there that I wanted to become a caregiver. I think that me being able to connect with people easily is what makes me a good caregiver. A personal achievement of mines is when I motivated a person who really didn't like doing anything to get up and move and be active. I love to encourage people to do their best and help them and be there whenever they need me to.

Hello! I love caring for an individuals needs. I'm kind, considerate and patient. Ive worked with a variety of individuals from elderly to young disabled adult and hospice. Most of my experience has been as a private caregiver. I found my passion as a caregiver over 20 years ago when my father needed hospice and I saw the lack in the basic caregiving. I then saw a need for caregivers who actually care for the individuals and their families.

I been a CNA for about 10 years. I love working with people in general. I was taking care if my grandparents until they moved. I was taking care of my aunt that had Lupus until she died. This is my calling NOT a job!!

I always get told at my job now that I am really good with the residents their and that I am always smiling and positive about everything. I have always had love for caring for others. I have taken care of my mother when she got sick up until she passed and I now take care of my grandmother. I love working with elderly people because i love to hear all there stories and get to know them and laugh and talk. They are so sweet and know a lot about life and they can teach me things i never knew about. It is a great opportunity for anyone to work in this field. An achievement that i am proud of is working where i am and what i am doing with my life. I get to help others and help someones family member.

I am currently a senior nursing student at Lander. Before attending college, I received my CNA while in high school. I began working at an assisted living & a home care agency. My heart lies with the elderly. I started working at a nursing home before later accepting a job at Self Regional. I have been working at the hospital as needed as patient care tech & nurse extern while also private sitting for a dementia patient. I absolutely love what I do and it's my hope that I can continue to care for those in need when possible. I am looking to help those in the community on the side while maintaining my job at the hospital. I love to provide one-on-one care because I personally believe that is the best practice. I consider sitting with elderly as not a job but rather a rewarding experience. I have a passion for the elderly and I look forward to caring for your loved one!
