Hi, My name is Crystal i have been a caregiver for 7 years.. Im not CNA certified but i have all the qualifications as one but I am Med certified .. I'm very passionate about what I do . Bonding, caring and just keeping a smile on my individual face is whats most important to me .. I'm a uplifting person and love helping others . I have been working with the senior population for over 10 years. I am CPR and First-Aid trained and I enjoy the work I do. I have experience with hospice, BP checks,BS checks,meal preparation, medication reminders,run errands,doctor visits, and light housekeeping work. I am a compassionate, caring,patient, and kindhearted person that enjoys what I'm doing. If you get me as your caregiver,you will be satisfied.

My personality traits to help be a great caregiver is, Patience, People who need care often take longer to complete simple tasks. They may ask the same questions over and over. Good caregivers need patience to deal with anything from a loved one's memory lapses to angry outbursts. They practice staying calm and avoiding frustration. Compassion, Empathy and understanding are absolutely necessary. Even when caring for an abusive person, caregivers try to remain empathetic and understanding. Being Present, Good caregivers know the importance of respecting their loved one's current abilities. Rather than focusing on what their loved one can no longer do, a good caregiver tries be in the moment with them -- looking at photos, listening to music, cooking a favorite meal, remembering that they weren't always sick. Willing to assist, Always being able to be able to willing to help and assist the patient with anything they need! What attracted me to be a caregiver is, my grandmother and also, I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I love older adults and feel you can get along well with a variety of elders. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that being a caregiver provides a sense of pride and joy that most people don't experience in their day jobs. Everyone has the desire to feel that they're needed, and caregiving gives that feeling. At the end of the day, caregivers can look back and know they made a difference in people's lives. A personal achievement that im extremely proud of is that i graduated CNA class and get to further my experiences to live for elderly.

I became a caregiver because I feel as though, it is my calling and I get a pleasure out of being a servant for someone who is in need. I like the time that I can spend making someone else's life a little bit better even if it's just a smile. My personal achievements that I am very proud of are the progressions that my patients make due to the time, attention, and care that I provide for them. I always take good care of my clients.

I am very patient and easy going. I love to communicate with all different types of people. I'm well organized and spot on with recognizing when things are changing with a person that I care for. The thing that attracted me to being a caregiver was being able to help those with thing that they have a hard time doing, and being there for those in need of companionship and just having someone that they know that they could depend on in the time of need. What I enjoy most about caregiving is seeing those accomplishments reached throughout the time of said person's being in my care. I am proud of being that shoulder that anyone could possibly need.
