I have been working with the senior population for over 10 years. I am CPR and First-Aid trained and I enjoy the work I do. I have experience with hospice, BP checks,BS checks,meal preparation, medication reminders,run errands,doctor visits, and light housekeeping work. What makes me a caring, patient, loving caregiver is not only caring for my mother, but becoming one myself. Having a toddler has made me into the most tolerant and exuberant person. I am interested in being a caregiver for many reasons. Not everyone gets the choice to take care of their loved ones, I did. So that genuinely has inspired me to be there for your loved ones when you cant be. I take great pleasure in helping others. Since becoming a mother I find myself helping anyone I can. Whether it be returning a cart for an elderly couple or changing a tire for someone in a cast on 385. A personal achievement I am so proud of is the ability to pass on the art that is southern cooking that my Mother and Grandmother and Great grandmother taught me. Food brings people happiness. Brings back good memories. Being able to make something for someone that their mama used to make them as children is amazing. The light in their eyes is worth any and all work it took to prepare.
