For the many years that I have been taking care of the military men and women, I have loved the joy and appreciation that they give back. It is without a doubt that I will take a great care of your loved one just like I would care for my own. For me, life is a gift that comes from God and therefore, it must be respected.

I am Virginia Board Certified Nursing Assistant with over five years of home health and assisted living care. After raising four children I returned to school and became certified as a Home Health Aid, Nursing Assistant as well as Phlebotomy Tech. I believe that everyone has the right to quality care, and an advocate to ensure they are treated with dignity and respect. Raising four children has taught me that one must always use and implement active listening skills as well as expect the unexpected. My passion for health care comes from years of experience as a mother, wife and caregiver to family and friends.

I have been a caregiver 40 years. Always had a good repore with elderly growing up. Being there to help a loved one played a major roll in my job. I've worked in Assisted living facilities, Nursing homes and absolutely love it. I've used machinery like hoyer lifts, and other things. I'd prefer to stay away from that and heavy lifting. I also had my own assisted living years ago in upstate Ny.. I'm very experienced and I make it my buisness to be punctual and dependable. I take pride in my skills and I do my very best at all times. Looking primarily for day shift or overnight.

I am a caring loyal honest person who loves people of all ages. I generate positive energy which also makes me a good fit as a caregiver. I enjoy spending time with the elderly and enjoy getting them out to shop run errands or just chat.

I am a very intelligent, competent, motivated person. I am a former Licensed Practical Nurse and NREMT. I have worked in the Medical field for more that 25 years. I am a caring and compassionate person that always try to empathize with people I interact with. I have worked in many different jobs in the medical field. I joined the Army as a Combat Medic, because it was the only job that was offered to me, as a Combat Medic I had to take the National Register Emergency Medical Technican (NREMT) class and hold the the NREMT registration as long as I was in the Army. I was great as a Comabat Medic/NREMT, I loved it. I applied for the US Army Licensed Practical Nursing program, while I was deployed overseas. I decided that one deployment was enough, I did not want to deploy again. My personal achievement that I'm most proud of is, I have three adult kids that are all doing well, and I have been married for over 26 years.
