My name is Laura. I am currently a medical assistant for a small group practice in the heart of Yelm. I have been with the company over a year and a half. I see very different patients everyday as we are a family and urgent care practice. I am currently trying to find some extra work to help with extra bills and help pay off my student loans . I am a great people person. Elderly Care is one of my favorite thus far. I have a valid driver license and a clean background. I had always work with customers in a store setting. That just wasn't challenging enough for me. I wanted to do more, help more. I had an opportunity to take care of my grandmother when she became ill. It was the greatest feeling to be able to put a smile on her face while helping her. It just felt right knowing I was helping in a way that she was able to do by herself anymore. But with my help she was still able to enjoy the life she deserved.

I became a caregiver after growing up in foster care and living with a family where the wife/mother was a neonatal nurse and I went to work with her several times and I became inspired to take care of people

I have a huge heart, and believe that all people should be treated with dignity and respect. I've been a caregiver on and off for 20 years, I always come back to what I love. I am skilled and trained in Dementia care, end of life, experience with stroke, developmental disabilities, non verbal, and 100% non mobile adults and children. I love knowing I help make it possible for loved ones to stay home, and that family members can know I can be trusted.

Hi, my name is Christina. I have been a caregiver for over 5 years. I am a mom of 4 wonderful children and I have a farm in yelm. I love taking care of people and helping to bring joy in the lives of others. I am very organized and am experienced with most medications including shots if needed. I am also very experienced with most medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts. I am good at making meals and I have my own vehicle and insurance if shopping and/or taking to appts is needed.

I have been in position too help people since 2004. With my grandmother while I was attending college. When she passed away in 2005, I knew I wanted too stay too the caregiving career. I have a few quarter hoping for nursing but I haven't finished it yet. I finished my caregiver certificate in 2013. In 2014 my grandfather Parkinson's dieses got too the worst. I worked 3 jobs, and went home and managed to help with my grandfather three times a day. I was able too do the one thing that reminded me of why I love my job. No matter what I was able to help my papa pass away in his home looking out on his view. Since 2013 I have been able to accuire my delegation in medication and diabetes. I am current in CPR and first aid. I have also worked in adult family homes, in home, and facility setting.
