Hi my name is Churrell, I am 30 years old and I'm a CNA (certified nursing assistant). I have owned my own business doing in-home care for seven years but have 15 years experience total. I have a car, insurance and a valid license. I have worked with a variety of different clients therefore I have a wide range of experience. Some of the tasks I offer are: Medication reminders Bathing/ Showering Light house Cleaning/ organizing Cooking Transportation to and from doctors appointments. Worked at Catholic Community services for over 2 years. Home Care Assistant. Worked at Korean Women's Association for over a year Home Care Assistant. Helping clients cooking feeding, bathing and taking clients to Doctor's appointments. Worked at Sharon Care Center for over five years CNA/MA. Assisting residents with bathing, feeding, taking vitals, passing medication. Currently working at woodland village CNA/MA for over a year. I'm a hard worker very reliable, friendy, and love to help.

I have been in position too help people since 2004. With my grandmother while I was attending college. When she passed away in 2005, I knew I wanted too stay too the caregiving career. I have a few quarter hoping for nursing but I haven't finished it yet. I finished my caregiver certificate in 2013. In 2014 my grandfather Parkinson's dieses got too the worst. I worked 3 jobs, and went home and managed to help with my grandfather three times a day. I was able too do the one thing that reminded me of why I love my job. No matter what I was able to help my papa pass away in his home looking out on his view. Since 2013 I have been able to accuire my delegation in medication and diabetes. I am current in CPR and first aid. I have also worked in adult family homes, in home, and facility setting.

What makes me a great caregiver is my complete honesty, integrity, punctuality, dependability, friendliness, and over all very responsible. What made me become a caregiver after being in the driving industry for over 20yrs? Taking care of my Mother for 7 months who had diabeties, was in a wheelchair from limb death, early stage dementia and heart disease. What do I like about caregiving? Knowing I can give excellent one on one care for someone in there home and make there last years so much better than if they had to leave all that is familiar to them. Personal achievements I'm proud of: 1) CNA License with Nurse Delegation, CPR-First Aide, HIV & Aides, Mental Health, and Dementia Certificates. 2) CDL Class A Driving License with all Endorsements. Keeping a clean driving record. 3) NEVER being in trouble with the law, drank, smoke or did drugs. NOTE* My hourly rate is $25/hr daytime & I charge $12.50/hr for night time on a 24hr shift, and any major Holiday is time and a half. You might think it's more then others charge, but the saying is usually true, "you get what you pay for"!
