I first found a passion for caregiving in 2020, when I began working privately for a family and taking care of an elderly diabetic man. Connecting with someone one-on-one is really important to me, as I recognize the need for patience and kindness tied in with professionalism in this field. I was with him for about a year, doing almost everything with/for him. I can keep track of medication well, prepare healthy meals, transport, keep up with the house/hygiene, and build a personal connection with people. I enjoy a challenge and love learning new things/working with new people.

It's my passion,I love the duties that goes with the job of caring for families love one's. This career came to me from cleaning houses. Family members would ask if I would watch their love one's and after serial times of being asked I went to school and got my license and certified as a CNA. That's what God had planned for me. I'm still cleaning also on my off time. What I love about this career is the people I'm involved with the friends,work ethics Let's not forget the pet's.

What makes me a GREAT caregiver is that I really CARE to me this is personal. I care for my patients as if they were my own family member. I don't cut corners or rush, because that's not what I would want for my family member. My husband is Active Duty Army and I went home to provide hospice care for both of my Grandmas. It was the hardest and most rewarding time I spent with them. I am a very down to earth Northern Midwesterner. I am a great cook!

I love people. As I've aged I realize my sons need me in their lives for their children. That's humbling to know they might think I have something to pass on to the next generation. Every person has a unique life story. I'd be enriched to know about a family history different than mine but just as interesting. I'd hope I could make someone's daily life easier and in turn help the family.

I became a caregiver, because I like to be of service. I have an AA degree in Mental Health and Human Services, and have worked in the field for over 25 years. I started out working Direct care and then went on to provide staff training on how best to serve a variety of individuals. What I love about care-giving is that I am able to use my skills on a one on one bases to improve the quality of life for the customer. One of the things that I am most proud of is that I had a client that everyone told me that she was unable to do anything to help herself, such as eating bathing and communicating her needs. When I worked with her in 6 moths she was able to feed herself and she was able to communicate her needs to me as well as others. Love, respect and honor moves mountains. I have years of experience in the service field and I am an excellent communicator and love to support each individual in living a life of joy and love.

Hi I'm Cindy. I have two years of care giving with one private care care giver. I love to visit, cook listen and shop for these wonderful persons who have much to talk about. I learn so much from my clients that I can use their advise when I listen closely to their life's stories. I can help when it is time to give the doctors what they wants to keep healthy clients. I write all my daily activates down so that their families can see what took place that day. I love to laugh, listen and take part in their lives. I have made discussion that have saved thier lives so thatey can continue to live a full and active life.
