I am a single mother of an 9 year old boy I'm originally from California I've lived in Colorado for many years now and I love spending time with my family .

I first found a passion for caregiving in 2020, when I began working privately for a family and taking care of an elderly diabetic man. Connecting with someone one-on-one is really important to me, as I recognize the need for patience and kindness tied in with professionalism in this field. I was with him for about a year, doing almost everything with/for him. I can keep track of medication well, prepare healthy meals, transport, keep up with the house/hygiene, and build a personal connection with people. I enjoy a challenge and love learning new things/working with new people.

It's my passion,I love the duties that goes with the job of caring for families love one's. This career came to me from cleaning houses. Family members would ask if I would watch their love one's and after serial times of being asked I went to school and got my license and certified as a CNA. That's what God had planned for me. I'm still cleaning also on my off time. What I love about this career is the people I'm involved with the friends,work ethics Let's not forget the pet's.

What makes me a GREAT caregiver is that I really CARE to me this is personal. I care for my patients as if they were my own family member. I don't cut corners or rush, because that's not what I would want for my family member. My husband is Active Duty Army and I went home to provide hospice care for both of my Grandmas. It was the hardest and most rewarding time I spent with them. I am a very down to earth Northern Midwesterner. I am a great cook!

I became a caregiver, because I like to be of service. I have an AA degree in Mental Health and Human Services, and have worked in the field for over 25 years. I started out working Direct care and then went on to provide staff training on how best to serve a variety of individuals. What I love about care-giving is that I am able to use my skills on a one on one bases to improve the quality of life for the customer. One of the things that I am most proud of is that I had a client that everyone told me that she was unable to do anything to help herself, such as eating bathing and communicating her needs. When I worked with her in 6 moths she was able to feed herself and she was able to communicate her needs to me as well as others. Love, respect and honor moves mountains. I have years of experience in the service field and I am an excellent communicator and love to support each individual in living a life of joy and love.

Ive been working in this feild for 20 years. I take care of my residents/ cleints just like i would my own family. I am very caring and a very understanding person. I show my resident/ clients the respect and dinity they deserve.

Im energetic, friendly, i love working with the elderly. Ive worked 15 years, in Ireland and here. Currentley finishing a contract then moving oct 11.i like to interact with them, for companion ship, and motor skill. Alzheimers is my specialty. What attracted me to care giving is they are still in there, and can tell some wonderful stories. I enjoy int eracting.that i made it through collage in a foreign country to be the best i can. I became a caregiver as a stepping stone to becoming a nurse. I thought that it would provide me some insight into whether or not I would enjoy nursing, and now I love my job. I consider being a caregiver a career before my career. I enjoy spending time with those who could benefit from my services, as I feel I could benefit from their knowledge. I have the stomach to handle the harder side of the job, and the compassion to ensure that no patient of mine will ever feel uncomfortable asking me for help. I'm proud of getting my CNA license when I was a Junior in high school, and finishing out my senior year as a nursing assistant.
