I have always been a caregiver, taking care of my grandparents, my aunt before she was transferred to a nursing facility. My aunt had numerous health issues. I also took care of my husband, he had two major surgeries last year, he had to learn to walk again. During the process of caring for my husband, I realized that I enjoy helping people and I resigned from law enforcement and I am currently working as a caregiver part-time for Comfort Keepers of Florence SC since November of last year. I'm proud to say that I took good care of my husband and he is getting stronger every day, caregiving gives me the opportunity to give back to our seniors, I enjoy putting a smile on their faces. I am CPR certified, up to date on all vaccinations including COVID.
