I am 3 courses shy of my Bachelor's of science in business. I have successfully completed the undergraduate general management certification. I have over 13 years off management experience in the fast food world. I left fast food and earned my 3 years of healthcare experience as a residential care partner and then a dietary nutritional cook. I also have 4 years of experience in retail establishment. I am very outgoing and a social butterfly. I enjoy helping others. I have experience caring for patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's, dementia, diabetes, and I understand the care necessary to help my clients live life as successful as possible. I am a very patient and attentive person. The most rewarding and precious thing we all have is our time and devotion. My goal as a caregiver is to empower as well as, revive a sense of personal independence. Building self esteem and administering a heavy dose of reassurance, are my strong points. I have experience with Parkinson's patients as well, and that has been a crowning honor for myself. More so, I find myself living through the wisdom and history of each person's story and take that knowledge through my own journey. My name is Charmarie Allen, I am happy to be able to offer the service of helping people that need it. I feel that everyone should be able to receive the care they need, what started this for me was when my father was ill and needed a caregiver my mother and I were all he had. Caregiving is the ultimate act of love. Caregiving changed perspective on life! My mother took care of my grate grandmother when I was little. She would let me help and it ment the world to me making them smile! My giving nature and my nurturing desire to help those in need is how I knew caregiving was for me.
