Greetings, I've discovered that regardless of someones health condition or disability everyone deserves to have a good quality life and to be happy, thats way I became a "Compassionate Caregiver" it is so important to provide compassionate care to thoughes that need caring for. One of my good friends was in a car accident that left him as a Quadriplegic, now being such a young man, he became very depress with life and I had a problem with that so I decided to learn how to care for him and I did just that. I started by being Trained by the Healthcare facility free of charge were he lived. I started class room and hands on training for eight weeks and I had taken a CPR course. I did this so my friend could have a quality life. I also taken a course on how to transfer Quadriplegic patients so that I could transfer him the correct way from his wheel chair to my car and from the car to his wheelchair and back into the facility were he was living, that alowed us to go places, Dr appointments and places he liked going to. Then he stoprd looking at his self deficiencies but instead, he started loving life once again and loving people and we made the best of things. So he begin enjoying are times together once again just like old times and thats how I became a Home Healthcare Provider.

I try to aim high with making clients and family comfortable being around. I love laughing and talking. I became a caregiver because I love God's people and serving others. I enjoy my clients being happy with me and the care I give. And for me to see them comfortable around me. The personal achievement I am proud of is when I had the honor and privilege to take care of some of Houston's finest clients. And I was able to be there until the end of their life stage. After caring for my 95 year old mom for 6 years; the realization needing an xtra hand, if nothing else to get a break , was challenging to locate a professional quality caregiver that actually knew what they were doing, and were reliable. After many years of working in a Hospital Business Office by day and caring for a family member at night, I decided to become a Caregiver to others.
