I am dependable and sensitive to the client's needs. The physical ability to help others who are limited in their daily activities. Being a caregiver allows you to meet different individuals. The ability to raise two children who are responsible adults is the greatest personal achievement.

I've invested over 20 years of work experience both hospitals and in home care giving. As well as formal education and extensive training CPR/First Aid, Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Room Technician, Patient Care Technician, Certified Phlebotomy and EKG Technician. Learning new skills and take continuing education to do my job well.

I, Shonita Badillo became a caregiver because I love working with the elderly and, sick. Caregiving has always been my passion because, when I was a teenager I cared for my grandmother. I enjoy being a caregiver because, it gives me joy to see a smile on my clients face, and, also I feel I can bring a lot to their life such as understanding patience and, compassion. I feel I have achieved experience over the last 15 years. As I continue to work as a caregiver I feel more confident that I know my job and, that I can relate to my clients better. I have 15 years of experience as a certified nursing assistant. I have worked in a hospitals nursing homes and, private homes. My future plans is to futher my nursing experience. I have always been passionate about making the lives of those I care for owing to my experience in clinical practice as a an LVN/LPN licensed Nurse and a volunteering work in healthcare in which I have managed the aged and elderly and built a wonderful relationship with them which has helped the outcome of daily living, much improved. I really enjoy helping the patient comfortable in their own space. My grandfather and the way he was treated in a nursing home. He just wanted to be at his home. Helping my patient feel comfortable and relaxed. Letting him or her tell stories about the past,love,kids, what it was like in the old days. Being there for them when they need me most. Making them feel useful and they do matter

I believe our elder community are to be cherished, I take great pride in Providing care and assistance for my clients as I do my own family. I work very well with our Alzheimer's family, as it has become a very important part of my life. I maintain a ALS, CPR and a BLS License. As of 9/24/18 I have obtained my Instructors license for the American Heart Association. I am extremely dedicated when becoming your health care provider. My goal is to improve your loved ones mental and physical health, Ultimately focusing on a better quality of life, bring your loved one to a state of happiness and well being.
