I am a caregiver because I Love working with people being of service is my passion. I understand that as people are sick, aged or life has just happened they need someone who is willing to listen have patience and at time just squeeze their hand which says I'm here, the least of all a smile can change someone's day.. Yes, I prepare daily to provide a life changing experience 1 client, 1 visit 1 conversation at a time.

I naturally have an urge to help others, my main priority is helping other people wholeheartedly. Empathy, compassion, Patience, Reliable, Trustworthy. Flexible. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members especially my grandparents, since then I have dedicated my time in doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I enjoy getting familiar with patients and accommodating their special health needs. Spending one on one time with my patients and knowing that they trust me enough to care for them, especially in the comfort of their homes. I've invested over 20 years of work experience both hospitals and in home care giving. As well as formal education and extensive training CPR/First Aid, Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Room Technician, Patient Care Technician, Certified Phlebotomy and EKG Technician. Learning new skills and take continuing education to do my job well.

I, Shonita Badillo became a caregiver because I love working with the elderly and, sick. Caregiving has always been my passion because, when I was a teenager I cared for my grandmother. I enjoy being a caregiver because, it gives me joy to see a smile on my clients face, and, also I feel I can bring a lot to their life such as understanding patience and, compassion. I feel I have achieved experience over the last 15 years. As I continue to work as a caregiver I feel more confident that I know my job and, that I can relate to my clients better. I have 15 years of experience as a certified nursing assistant. I have worked in a hospitals nursing homes and, private homes. My future plans is to futher my nursing experience. I hope to find a nice family to work for because I feel I have a lot to bring to a patients life. My availability is working days part time or fulltime.

I have always been passionate about making the lives of those I care for owing to my experience in clinical practice as a an LVN/LPN licensed Nurse and a volunteering work in healthcare in which I have managed the aged and elderly and built a wonderful relationship with them which has helped the outcome of daily living, much improved. Owing to this experience, its been my passion to continue on such opportunities to provide quality care for my clients to make their lives much better.

I am a energetic, reliable, compassionate, respectful person and I believe that these traits help me to be a wonderful caregiver. I am very passionate about what I do and love the satisfaction I get from servicing people. I was attracted to this job because it's very similar to what I wanted to go to school for; which was nursing. I later changed my major to speech language pathology and I love it! I enjoy keeping my clients company, assisting them in anything they need assistance with. One of the personal achievements is gaining knowledge about this field, since 2013 I have been able to learn so much and work with different companies as well.

I really enjoy helping the patient comfortable in their own space. My grandfather and the way he was treated in a nursing home. He just wanted to be at his home. Helping my patient feel comfortable and relaxed. Letting him or her tell stories about the past,love,kids, what it was like in the old days. Being there for them when they need me most. Making them feel useful and they do matter

I enjoy taking care of the elderly people's I also enjoy conversations letting him know that someone does care about them and giving them the best care I can give them with lots of love and understanding I can do morning evening or nights stay over and weekends

I enjoy helping families and seeing needs that need to be met before the family realizes there is a need. I enjoy providing comfort both to the patient I am caring for as well as peace of mind for their family knowing all needs will be taken care of and their family member is being loved on and cared for as my own family.
