I am a very compassionate and patient caregiver with 24 years of experience helping to care for individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. I began providing care when a close friend of mine needed help caring for her sick mother. I worked with this sweet lady for seven and a half years in which I refined my caregiving skills. The bond that I build with all of my clients is unmistakably genuine and sweet. Over my career I have cared for 15 different people and each one of them and the experiences that we have shared has helped to enrich my ability to care for the next one. I am also a proud mother of two wonderful children and that in itself speaks volume about my ability to care for others. I truly care for my clients as if they were a part of my own family.

Care giving is something i choose to do out of passion, and dream I love helping older people, just like i love taking care of children too. because I always pray to live longer and old ,so I started by trying to help volunteering weekly because am in to filmmaking,singing and dancing which Is also one of my passion ,but The job comes once a while before i decided to make it a full time job due to my experience with older people, and people with special needs .So what made me a better caregiver is because I care for my clients like they are my own parents and family in a special way.My believe as a caregiver is you need first to love people as you love yourself,then put yourself in their shoes and feel their pains then you will know how it feels that they need more time and care ..

I have been a caregiver for over 20 years, I became a caregiver because I did not have a chance to take care of my own mom/dad, so I see my parents in every person I take care of. I have worked as a Private caregiver, and also in an Assited Living setting and thru agencies, I have encounter different clientele, and learned a lot from different cultures. I first became a caregiver for my mother after she had a stroke. After she passed away after me taking care of here for 6 years Then I realized how some people don't have anyone to take care of them so here I am to help.

Since I was a young child I was raised around my elderly family and I loved to help them walk or just do fun things with them. I babysat at the age 9, I just always had that trait in me to take care of others. I took care of my aunt at the age of 17 I had never had training to do any kind of caregiving work but I learned as I went along. For 9 months I cooked for her, I cleaned her wound, drained the bags that were in her incisions, med reminded, bathed her in bed, washed her hair in bed, I changed her in her bed, cut her diabetic toenails and assisted her to and from dr appointments. My aunt suffered from hepatitis C and diabetes. That's how my journey of becoming a caregiver began. I went and took a home health aide class at Castro Valley adult school and got hired at my first company. ComForCare Senior Services in Castro Valley ca. I took break for 7yrs to be a stay at home mommy in 2012 and now I'm ready to get back to work and doing what I love and that's helping others who are in need of help.

First and foremost my education as a degree holder of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.Certified ,Trained and Experienced as a Certified Nursing Assistant to various Hospitals,Assisted Living,Skilled Nursing,and Home Care Facilities.I have ample period of time of experience to various facilities and hospitals.I have met and worked with many patients, elders,and different clients and with diff.cases. Need less to say That I am in the process of to taking my NCLEX for RN,in order for me to be equip academically and governmentally licensed to practice my profession.
