I've been a CNA for 19yrs & a Caregiver for over 30yrs. I love taking care of people; learning about peoples lives & encouraging them. I love doing Respite Care. I love to interact with pediatric, geriatric & babies.

I have been in the medical industry my entire life. Caregiving is definitely the most rewarding part of the industry for me. I love making later life more liveable, enjoyable and worth while to seniors in the final years of life. I am energetic, compassionate, capable and loving all in one. I have the skills, knowledge and experience in all caregiving services. Certified in first aid and in caregiving.

I am a go getter, I enjoy conversation and I enjoy what I do. I believe myself to be a very sympathetic and empathetic individual and that makes me a great caregiver because I can help my client by relating to their issues and reassuring them things will be ok. I am attracted to being a caregiver because I want nothing more than to help people. I believe every person is beautiful and they all share their own unique stories. I love to hear them all. I am proud that I can say I have been doing this work for over seven years and I wouldn't change it for the world. All the people I meet are amazing and wonderful people. I go home every night feeling accomplished that I might have made a difference in somone's day.

I have been working for Partners In Care in Grass Valley, working both in home health and at the assisted living facility Eskaton since the beginning of this year. I have worked as a babysitter and nanny, caring for children for several years. I am currently in my final year of a Physical Therapist Assistant program and will be beginning my internships this month. I have the skills necessary to transfer, ambulate with, and bathe seniors in a safe manner. I am very compassionate and wiling to do the extra work to assure safety and to provide a comfortable and positive environment for those I am working with. I am CPR certified. I used to have my Wilderness EMT certification and was a ski patroller. I feel that I can handle emergency situations well. I am passionate about doing the best I can to make the lives of those around me a little bit better. I love being a caregiver it fits my personality to the max because one of my passions is to care for others. I care for my clients like I would like to be cared for and treated. My mom inspired me to become a caregiver because she was my first client. I enjoy giving my time, care, support, friendship and companionship the most about caregiving. I'm mostly proud to say I have been a caregiver for 5 years and still love it.

For 15 plus years I have enjoyed watching over and caring for OUR Elderly in Facilities as well as there Homes with responsibilities including Managing Home & Medical Care Daily Care Sheet Reports Dr Appts and Scripts Ordering Medical Supplies Assisting with Transfers Nutrition & Meal Planning Hygiene & Personal Care Housekeeping & Home Maintenance Transportation Entertainment and SO much more and I can elaborate, if needed on any of the above job responsibilities I held while assisting those whom have made this wonderful life possible for Me and I am So Blessed to have not only found My passion in life, but make a career of it.

When I was 16 yrs old I started working in the hospital always wanted to a nurse but lived in a rural area where there was no place to study, so later in life I started to work in nursing homes and assisted living centers, eventually branching out on my own. It's just somthing I'm passionate about and will continue to do till I need a caregiver. Im honest reliable and compassionate and belive in keeping loved ones at home on there own surroundings. My last client was 101. I was with her for 10 yrs. For her 100th birthday I made her birthday wish come true we even made the local paper. She wanted a ride in and ambulance with 2 goodlooking EMT's around town since she had been bed bound for 7 yrs. I got the locals to come out where we stopped the sang to her brought her flowers, it was amazing. She was a beautiful person.
