I enjoy helping people, and comes very natural to me. In my spare time I enjoy swimming,biking, reading,and hiking.

What helps me be a great caregiver is being who I am. I was born with great compassion for overs and their well-being. As a young child I've always helped my older peers with their disadvantages in life or their disability. Caring comes naturally to me being a mother and grandmother. Giving endless love and company. What attracts me to being a caregiver would be me knowing I'm able to help someone and I'm able to make their life easier and possibly to change their life for the better. I enjoy being in the company of someone that feels alone and useless. Letting them know I care for them and I'm there to listen an talk about their needs and wants. I am proud of the mother and grandmother and caregiver I became in life. I'm a very dependable and dedicated person once I set a goal I achieve it an go beyond.

I've been a CNA for 19yrs & a Caregiver for over 30yrs. I love taking care of people; learning about peoples lives & encouraging them. I love doing Respite Care. I love to interact with pediatric, geriatric & babies.

Being a caregiver is the start to being an excellent nurse. I am currently working on my nursing degree and would like to gain more experience as a caregiver in addition to my education.

I grew up on a dairy farm in rural Pennsylvania. I have worked in healthcare since I graduated high school. From nurse aid , medical records, front office staff , surgical scheduler, and certified ophthalmic assistant. My farther was an amputee and my mom had dementia. I cared for them both at home until they moved to assisted living and eventually skilled nursing. I know how to navigate and fight for the proper care of your loved ones within the healthcare system. I would be happy to assist you in the care of your loved ones. I enjoy animals and would be happy to help with those as well.

I have been working for Partners In Care in Grass Valley, working both in home health and at the assisted living facility Eskaton since the beginning of this year. I have worked as a babysitter and nanny, caring for children for several years. I am currently in my final year of a Physical Therapist Assistant program and will be beginning my internships this month. I have the skills necessary to transfer, ambulate with, and bathe seniors in a safe manner. I am very compassionate and wiling to do the extra work to assure safety and to provide a comfortable and positive environment for those I am working with. I am CPR certified. I used to have my Wilderness EMT certification and was a ski patroller. I feel that I can handle emergency situations well. I am passionate about doing the best I can to make the lives of those around me a little bit better. What makes me a great? First thing is Empathy and Compassion. I love to make them feel like they can be open with me not shy nor scared. I treat people how i would want someone to treat me.i took care of my grandparents and thats when i knew i wanted to be a caretaker. My clients love me cause i treat them like my own grandparents. I have very good patience also im reliable,trustworthy,flexible..Not only am i helping them there helping me in the long run.

LOVING WHAT I DO I don't believe many people can say that and truly mean it, but I CAN!! For 15 plus years I have enjoyed watching over and caring for OUR Elderly in Facilities as well as there Homes with responsibilities including Managing Home & Medical Care Daily Care Sheet Reports Dr Appts and Scripts Ordering Medical Supplies Assisting with Transfers Nutrition & Meal Planning Hygiene & Personal Care Housekeeping & Home Maintenance Transportation Entertainment and SO much more and I can elaborate, if needed on any of the above job responsibilities I held while assisting those whom have made this wonderful life possible for Me and I am So Blessed to have not only found My passion in life, but make a career of it.

I became a caregiver for my mother for almost 3 years ,prior to her death. She was bedridden for the last year. I dealt with all her needs & the Hospice people that attended her. Since then I have cared for 2 different elderly women. One recovering from hip replacement ,that initially needed 24/7 care & companion to the other that was almost blind. I am very good at making them laugh & focus on the humorous side of aging. Something I think is missing from most elderly people's lives. I enjoy listening to their stories- their experiences. I consider myself easy to be with & adjustable to many situations.

I am a 47 year old THAI lady, I am a US permanent resident and I am authorized to work for any emplyer. I am married to a US engineer and I do not have any children. I hold a Master Degree in Political Science from a Bangkok University. I am employed and currently working in the hospitality business for the PEPERMILL RESORT in Reno.
