I enjoy helping people, and comes very natural to me. In my spare time I enjoy swimming,biking, reading,and hiking.

I've been a CNA for 19yrs & a Caregiver for over 30yrs. I love taking care of people; learning about peoples lives & encouraging them. I love doing Respite Care. I love to interact with pediatric, geriatric & babies.

I have been in the medical industry my entire life. Caregiving is definitely the most rewarding part of the industry for me. Being a caregiver is the start to being an excellent nurse. I am currently working on my nursing degree and would like to gain more experience as a caregiver in addition to my education.

I grew up on a dairy farm in rural Pennsylvania. I have worked in healthcare since I graduated high school. From nurse aid , medical records, front office staff , surgical scheduler, and certified ophthalmic assistant. My farther was an amputee and my mom had dementia. I cared for them both at home until they moved to assisted living and eventually skilled nursing. I know how to navigate and fight for the proper care of your loved ones within the healthcare system. I would be happy to assist you in the care of your loved ones. I enjoy animals and would be happy to help with those as well.

I am a go getter, I enjoy conversation and I enjoy what I do. I believe myself to be a very sympathetic and empathetic individual and that makes me a great caregiver because I can help my client by relating to their issues and reassuring them things will be ok. I am attracted to being a caregiver because I want nothing more than to help people. I believe every person is beautiful and they all share their own unique stories. I love to hear them all. I am proud that I can say I have been doing this work for over seven years and I wouldn't change it for the world. All the people I meet are amazing and wonderful people. I go home every night feeling accomplished that I might have made a difference in somone's day.

I have been working for Partners In Care in Grass Valley, working both in home health and at the assisted living facility Eskaton since the beginning of this year. I have worked as a babysitter and nanny, caring for children for several years. I am currently in my final year of a Physical Therapist Assistant program and will be beginning my internships this month. I have the skills necessary to transfer, ambulate with, and bathe seniors in a safe manner. I am very compassionate and wiling to do the extra work to assure safety and to provide a comfortable and positive environment for those I am working with. I am CPR certified. I used to have my Wilderness EMT certification and was a ski patroller. I feel that I can handle emergency situations well. I am passionate about doing the best I can to make the lives of those around me a little bit better. I love being a caregiver it fits my personality to the max because one of my passions is to care for others. I care for my clients like I would like to be cared for and treated. My mom inspired me to become a caregiver because she was my first client. I enjoy giving my time, care, support, friendship and companionship the most about caregiving. I'm mostly proud to say I have been a caregiver for 5 years and still love it.

I'm a wife and mother of 2 beautiful daughters. I have a passion for helping others. I'm currently a license phlebotomist but do have experience in home care. I was a home care provider for another company I worked at for 5 yrs before becoming a phlebotomist. Helping others in their time of need is a rewarding feeling because you never know if it could be you one day needing that same help. I'm hard worker and would give the shirt off back if needed.
