Either in a nursing facility or in home. I also have a background with children who have disabilities. I am an Exercise Science major with a concentration in Pre-Allied Health Sciences and a concentration in Spanish in Health Professions. I have previous background in an array of care-taking serviceS but currently I work as a CNA in Conway, SC. I love my job and the people I meet! I have always been people-oriented and that is what pushed me to peruse healthcare and I have loved my journey thus far! Also, I am CPR/AED certified and have knowledge dealing with an array of cognitive and other medical disorders.

I used to work in a unit of dementia and alzheimers so I do have experience working with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. I also have my First Aid and CPR Certification up to date, I have a recommendation letter from my previous client, I am bilingual, have a Medical Assistant certification and also have a certification for my Emergency Medical Technician. I have a lot of patience when I comes anything. I do love to cook healthy meals. I can also do light house keeping if you would need me to. I do have my own transportation so im available to also do few food shopping and take to doctors appointments. I'm also pet friendly is the client has a pet. The reason why I should get hired is because first i know how its like to look for care for a loved one and worry if they will do a good job. I've been there when my grandma was very delicate and was in my care. Also my experience on working on this field has brought me joy and love. I do my best at bringing laughter and happiness to every client. I love the satisfaction I get from everyone that I help. I love putting a smile on everyone's faces.

My personality traits or expertise that would help me be a great caregiver patience and or kindness and respect! What attracted me the most about wanting to be a caregiver is spending quality time of getting to know that person with giving companionship or being able to be a helping hand and just giving that extra care! I really enjoy most about being a caregiver is getting to know about patient , and not only just helping with housekeeping or filling meds but just to hear their wonderful stories or knowing that the person knows that they can always count on you and you will be by their side no matter what , I want my patient to feel safe and cared! I am a Christian first and far most! I love all of God's people. That makes me a wonderful care giver. Your love one will love me like I love them. No job is to big, I do what ever is needed to make sure my clients are taking care of.

I have experience taking care of couples as well as individuals, men, and women. I love dogs and have one at home. I do not take clients who smoke. I like the day or night shift, and I am available for work overnights for 8-12 hour shifts either in a home or in a facility. Also available days but I do not burn the candle at both ends. The age of my clientele has ranged from 3 to 104. Wherever you are I can go to get to you. If you are in a facility and you want me there I can be there. I am a huge advocate for my clients and I have a zero tolerance policy for maltreatment or neglect. I also will not allow anyone to exploit or abuse a client without reporting it to the proper authorities. I have advanced training in Alzheimer's and dimentia as well as Occupational Therapy degree holder as of December 2019 I am currently taking on new clients.

My name is Tiara I'm 25 years old, when I was 18 my grandmother fell ill and there was nobody that we felt could give her the around the clock skilled care she needed without going into a facility (which nobody would have allowed to happen) so I began caring for her myself, following under the direction hospice had given. I began turning her as needed aiding in her mobility so she wouldn't lose the use of her legs, hand over hand feeding her. Anything she needed I was there and I realized I didn't just like to help but instead it gave me a good feeling to know I was doing more then just assisting I was a companion. She was no longer"down in the dumps" it's a wonderful feeling. I'm a very honest easy going person, I've got a habit of always seeing the brighter side. I enjoy reading and cooking in my free time. Im currently awaiting my test for my cna certification and soon after I will be bridging to LPN.

I started out being a caregiver taking care of my grandmother she had Stage 4 ovarian cancer I was her caregiver until she was deceased ,my job as a caregiver for other clients has been an rewarding experience I enjoy taking care of them and I've always had a heart where there my number one priority ,I couldn't see me doing a job without taking care of the elderly because I gave gotten so attached to my clients ,whatever job I'm doing I do my best come to work on time and have a smile always I make my clients and patients day and I'm a loving Christian woman who is active in church and a mother of three grown adult children and five grandchildren and soon to be married to the love of my life this is my story about me .
