I am a National Certified Patient Care Technician.I have experience with people diagnosed with dementia, strokes, cancer, C. O. P. D, total care, quadriplegic, diabetes, high blood pressure, neuropathy, CHF, and other heart conditions, Multiple sclerosis. I'm sure I missed a few, will update later. I have experience with hoyer lift, wheel chair, lift, transfer, ambulatory, bed pan, colostomy, urinal, catheter care, perineal care, feeding, cooking, taking all vital signs. I am a great caregiver because I care fully for the client. I follow all instructions to the letter and ask when unsure. I am attracted to caregiving because I am a caring person. My great grand parents were old and unwell; if only they had better care they would have lived just a little bit longer. I am attracted to caregiving because I think to hat I can make a difference. I always wanted to help people, I use to take care of my grandma when she was sick and couldn't do anything for herself. It's a rewarding job to be able help people.
