I am very dependable. I am never late to work or any place I am expected to be. I am 20-years-old. I am from Nashville, TN, currently living in Athens, GA. I have an Associates Degree in "Health Sciences." I am furthering my career in Social Work. I want to be a School/ Family Social Worker. I enjoy being around children of all ages. My mom is a current Social Worker and she owns a Daycare in Nashville TN, where I was a former employee. In high school, I was a peer-tutor for special needs students. I helped the students with their work, helped prepare them for speeches. I also helped them reach their highest potential whether that's emotionally, mentally, or even physically. I am a wonderful cook. I love cooking home-made meals. If instructions are included and a family has a recipe, I don't mind giving it a shot! I am fun and energetic. Crossword puzzles? Walks in the park? I am for it all!

I started off as a hospice aide at the age of 17. This was while I was still in high school because I always knew that caring for others was my calling. I can remember being a little girl and wanting to help out with my grandpa who had suffered from a stroke leaving him disabled and needing help most of the time. I always wanted to help feed him and give him juice. When I went off to college I started doing home health and helping families that needed it. Every one I came in contact with me had such a great bond that we would share that we would become inseparable. I have been told that I have a spirit that most people need to look after others. It is something I enjoy doing. I love to help others because you never know where you could end up. Right now I currently work at a hospital with rehab dealing with stroke patients. I love it. I just want to be able to give people who are sick or just need the company the proper companionship and the love that they need.

I believe I could be your best caregiver, I will treat your loved one with the same love and care I would want for my own mother. I have years of experience I'm a certified medical assistant. I have plenty of references from clients and personal references too. Give me a chance to show you how great it feels to have your loved one cared for by me. I want to be a caregiver and soon a CNA (I finish my class in August 15,2014) One because I love caring for people and I believe that the only difference between myself and my patient is which side of the sheet I am on. I believe all patients deserve quality care and their needs met personally, emotionally and medically. I am currently enrolled in EMT/Paramedic course to finish in Nov 2015. I am able to work most days with exception to my class day. If you are willing to discuss this please contact me I only have class every 3 days from 9-3. I became a caregiver because I am a very loving, caring and compassionate person who genuinely loves to take care of people and make sure they are safe and comfortable. What I like most about being a caregiver is gives me the opportunity to provide great help, comfort and security for those who need it especially when they need it the most. Even more, I am most happy when I can be a blessing or impact positively on a person's life by simple giving excellent care. I am proud to say I have left a warm and loving long lasting impression on the hearts of people I have been privileged to take care of. People never forget how you make them feel at a crucial stage of their life. My greatest achievement has been to live for others through care giving. I am a loving, compassionate, reliable caregiver with excellent patient care and charting skills gained through over five years of experience in working as a caregiver in diverse healthcare settings. I am technically skilled in attending to patients in diverse healthcare settings which include all stages of Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke and diabetes and many more diseases associated with the elderly.

I love to be able to help people, make them smile and make them happy. I have always loved to be able to help people feel better and help the get well. When growing up my grandfather had a stroke and was like a dementia patient. I was two when my grandmother started babysitting me, so she could stay home with her husband. We had a special connection, he wouldn't go to therapy. We learned to walk, talk and do everything together. When growing up I decided that I wanted to be a nurse or do something to help sick and elderly people. I really love to help them to be able to accomplish things that they think they cannot do anymore or find away to help them feel like they can do something still, even if its folding wash cloths. I have always tried to make them feel as if they have family even when their family can't be there. Oh being able to help so many families with the end of their family members life, wven when they are on hospice. I have always made it my goal to keep the resident and thier family as comfortable as possible.
