I became a caregiver because I had always wanted to be a nurse when I was younger. Also, my best friend/sister-in-law became very ill at an early age and I had wanted to take care of her but never got the chance as she passed away at age 44. My mom also became ill shortly thereafter and I promised that she would never go to a nursing home. My intention was to care for her in my home, but unfortunately she never made it home from the hospital. I vowed that if I could not help my own family then I would help someone else. I love being able to help people stay in their homes as long as possible and having the family reassured that their loved ones are being cared for in their absence. My personal achievements that I am proud of are being with two of my clients until the end of their life and knowing that I made things a bit easier for their families. As for myself, I am the mother of four sons and grew up with five older brothers.

I've always liked working with people. I had taken care of family members (mother,father,uncle), who have pasted on from cancer. I have a heart for the elderly for those who can't take care of themselves. I have worked as a caregiver with Restoring Angels in Greenville S.c. For 2 yrs. 2010-2012. I am currently employed as Dinning Service Director at assisted living facility. I have been there 3 yrs. I have been trained as med. Tech. I am CPR certified. Thank You. Cheryl Reed

because im humble ,patient,and have have alot of empathy for others! i no what makes me happy and comfortable so i try to make others feel the same . im very understanding and easy to get along with and i listen before i make discussions . i love kids i have three of my own and three grandkids 10 months to 2 years .i have several godchildren thaT I RAISED FROM BIRTH. ive been watching kids all my life. as for elderly i was raised by my grandparents so i watched them change an assist them on all their needs patiently. i learn fast and im reliable

I'm an honest and caring person. I go above and beyond to help my patients with all their needs. I treat all my patients like they are my family.

What makes me a great caregiver is that i have a great personality and get along with anybody ,I'm very understanding and patient also,I chose to be a caregiver because my grandmother had gotten sick and needed help and I helped her for almost 2 years ,I love what I do because it gives me a opportunity to connect with new people and give them the love and care there looking for.
