Like to help them to be able to help themselves. I love caring for others. Help out anyway that I can. My education in work in the school.

I love working with older people and talking with them and getting to know them.

I genuinely love people, I don't care about the color of your skin, I just see people. I have been taking care of people in my family all of my life, I enjoy doing for others and seeing the smile on their faces. Putting a smile on someone's face who wouldn't usually smile. I nursed my mom back to health after she had her leg amputated from complications of Diabetes, I helped her get her life back by working with her every day until she got strong enough to use her prosthetic leg on her own, now I cannot slow her down.

I am a retired LPN , who now have decided to do one on one care with clients. My skills include all CNA training in addition to physical assessments, wound care, patient teaching, medication administration, geriatrics, pediatrics, medical surgical nursing, and companionship with my clients. I have various references available upon request. I have been in the medical profession for 21 years. I sincerely get satisfaction from caring and taking care of others I feel like I'm making a difference in someone's quality of life,and I like to make people happy. My personal achievement I'm most proud of is earning every single academic achievement award available at my college.Im also really funny, I have a great sense of humor.

At the age of sixteen I helped a family friend looking after there mother whom had alzheimer's. During that time I found what I was compassionate about and what I wanted to do for a living. I love being a caregiver I love help other's in need. To able to care for someone in need and I know they are getting the best care in my hands makes my day to see a smile on my patients face's of a sigh of thanks. Going back to school and get my Associate Degree. I am a 33 year old woman I have been a caregiver for 17 years now this is my true passion I've walked away from this duty but my heart has brought me back the way i looked at it's not about when we get old at any giving time something can happen to you and if you ever have to depend on someone to care for you don't you want some to care for you with compassion patients understand open mind and a up lifting spirit. All my life all I have ever done is care for other with or with pay i do it because that's the person i am I just that kind of girl...

I'm laid back patient person & have learned it takes both of those things when dealing with someone in need of help. I can do or assist cooking, cleaning, driving, give meds, laundry, bathing, dressing, etc. I think it's very important for us to give back to the seniors, they raised us, so now it's our turn to help them & help them to live as independently as possible.

At the age of 18 I was introduced to caregiving. I am now 31 years of age and have continued my career path as a caregiver. I originally became a caregiver so that I could go in and care for my elderly disabled cousin when she first moved to my area, however I was never placed with her, but I was hired and placed with other clients and it was almost like second nature to me, I absolutely loved it so that's when I decided to take the caregiving career path. So far it has been a success and I've learned so much and am now able to care for many different types of cases with ease. My skills go beyond caregiving though, I also have worked in an emergency room as an emergency room technician which allowed me to gain more knowledge within the medical part of care. while I was working there, I acquired certifications in BLS/First Aid/AED use, EKG technician, Drug screening and breath alcohol testing, as well as picked up many skills in behavior health, orthopedics, heart care, stroke care, wound care, and so much more. My favorite thing about caregiving is knowing that I am there for those who were there for my generation and knowing that they are in great hands is just a couple of my favorite things about caregiving. Most of all I'd have to say, I absolutely love spending time with my clients and giving them the companionship that they need and deserve so that they do not have to worry about being lonely. The saying is true that people can die from loneliness and its heartbreaking knowing how many people do have to live without anybody in their lives. If I could be there for them all I would. I am always so happy to be in their presence knowing I'm making a difference in that person's life. It is a sense of fulfillment to me as if I am doing exactly what I was destined to do.
