I am a very outgoing and loving person which I was born naturally into. I always come with a beautiful smile and great energy ready to bring joy to everyone. The thing that really drove me to be a caregiver was always having to be a helping hand and care for my grandmother and uncle. Once I realized the help and care my grandmother needed after being diagnosed with cancer it drove me to want to give everyone around me the love and care they deserve. I enjoy bringing the positive and loving energy. Knowing they can count and depend on me to do what needs to be done. A personal achievement I am proud of is my motivation and how I've continued to move forward in life .

I have been doing Home Health Care for 20+ years. I have taken care of a wide variety of clients right down to family. I feel that since I was taken care of by the state as a child, my way of giving back is to take care of my loved ones. I enjoy seeing the smile on my client's faces when I walk through their door. I am currently going to school as Occupational Therapy Assistant and am looking forward to applying it to great use with clients in the future.

A personal achievement I am proud of is when I was able to help a student in my classroom overcome a significant challenge. This student struggled with fine motor skills and with basic tasks such as holding a crayon. Through working with them one-on-one and providing extra support and guidance, I was able to help them overcome this challenge and gain confidence in their abilities. Seeing their progress and the pride they felt in themselves was incredibly rewarding, and this experience would translate well to the role of a caregiver. I am a retired LPN , who now have decided to do one on one care with clients. My skills include all CNA training in addition to physical assessments, wound care, patient teaching, medication administration, geriatrics, pediatrics, medical surgical nursing, and companionship with my clients. I sincerely get satisfaction from caring and taking care of others I feel like I'm making a difference in someone's quality of life,and I like to make people happy. At the age of sixteen I helped a family friend looking after there mother whom had alzheimer's. During that time I found what I was compassionate about and what I wanted to do for a living.
