Everyone needs help from time to time. I like being that for someone, and hopefully making their day nicer, too. It's the little things that make a bad day better. I am not certified, but I have had multiple jobs as a caretaker, skills coach, and mental health aide. I have experience in most skills requested, and am very comfortable performing all care needs. I am open to expanding my skills, and will put in the extra effort and research needed. Ive had training in most everything listed, including lifting, mobility, CPR, and first aid. I'm very outgoing, trustworthy, honest, and a very loving person, my appearance isn't as appealing but I'm an awesome person, I'm easy to get along with and I am very hands on

I'm the oldest sibling and grandchild which means I am a natural caregiver. I love getting to know people and learning about their history or hearing stories they may share. Or, sitting in silence as we read a book or color together. Cooking and cleaning are other ways to show love and care for people. I love my "job" because it never feels like going to work. Helping people is engrained in me and it's truly the best fit I can imagine as far as a career.

I am very friendly, all smile, and positive vibes. I am attracted being a caregiver is making some one day and making smile and making sure there general health and mental state is positive. I enjoy just meeting new people and being the one who can help them in the time of need. Personal achievement is leaving a factory job and putting my good energy out there to people who need it. I like people and have compassion and respect for their feeling. I have a strong desire to comfort and care for others and improve their quality of life. My greatest achievement was successfully raising two children who are now generous, kind adults who are an asset to the community.

Being a great caregiver means going above and beyond for my patients. I have experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, diabetes etc. I'm also cpr certified.

I am a caring and very compassionate person. That will go above and beyond for anyone. My ex-step mom was a RN and so I wouldn't get into trouble growing up she would have me Volunteer at her work with residents and from that point on at the age of 10 I wanted to work in the health care field. I also love helping people and making a difference in people's lives. I'm proud that I graduated High School and received my Caregiver and home Health Aid certification.

A few things about me and my role as a caregiver are that I'm friendly, kind, compassionate, understanding, and hard working. For 10 years, I have worked as a caregiver under two professional services, ROI in Michigan and Help-at- Home in Northwest Indiana. The services that I've performed include transportation, personal assistance, physician advocate, medication disbursement, life-skills assistance to people, of all ages, with a variety of physical and mental abilities. Credentials include behavioral, CPR, and First Aid training. I am passionate about caring for those in need giving a helping hand. Knowing I could make a difference in their life and seeing a smile on their face brings joy and purpose to my life! What inspired me to get into caregiving was my Grandma. In the beginning, she just needed help with little things. Then, as time passed she needed all around care. It felt good to help her. I saw a need that I knew I could fulfill, not only for her, but others too. A personal achievement that I am most proud of was becoming an APC (Assistant Program Coordinator). I had applied 2 other times and didnt get the job. I had to build more skills and fight harder for it and the people I loved to help. I am thankful for the experience it has helped me to be a better caregiver.

I am very compassionate in the care I provide. I have cared for all ages ranging from kids with autism, toddlers, and elderly. I wanted to become a caregiver because I wanted to make a difference in peoples lives. I love to make new connections and hear stories about their experiences and lives. I have completely 2 years of undergraduate classes while caring for an infant at home and working full time.
